Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification :

Junior Overman (Trainee) –Diploma in Mining or Mining engineering or other equivalent Educational Qualification approved by the Central Government in that regard.and Government jobs Valid Overman’s Certificate of Competency from DGMS under Coal Mines Regulation 2017 or any certificate in Mining which entitles to work as Overman as per Coal Mines Regulation 2017 and Valid First Aid Certificate.

Mining Sirdar (Selection Grade-I) – Diploma or Degree in any subject other than Mining Engineering and
Mining Sirdar Certificate of Competency issued by DGMS and Valid First Aid Certificate. (or)
DGMS issued a Mining Diploma with an Overman Competency Certificate. and Valid First Aid Certificate.

Age Limit (As on 01.04.2025)

1. Junior Overman (Trainee) – 30 Years

2. Mining Sirdar (Selection Grade-I) – 30 Years

Relaxation of Upper age limit:

For SC/ ST Applicants: 5 years

For OBC Applicants: 3 years

For PwBD (Gen/ EWS) Applicants: 10 years

For PwBD (SC/ ST) Applicants: 15 years

For PwBD (OBC) Applicants: 13 years

For Ex-Servicemen Applicants: As per Govt. Policy

Salary Details (Pay Scale)
