Educational Qualification :
1.Junior Technical Assistant (Electronics) :
• Diploma in Electronics Engineering (OR) Electronics & Communication Engineering (3 Year Full time) with minimum 60% marks in aggregate from Central/State Government/ AICTE recognized institute.
Desirable:
• Professional Training in Electronic Circuit Schematic and PCB Design software in Orcad/ Proteus/ Eagle/ Altium. Professional Certificate Training in soldering of through hole and SMD components.
Experience:
• Minimum three (3) years of working experience related to Electronic Circuit Schematic Design, multi-layer PCB Design, Soldering (Through Hole and SMD Components) and Testing of PCBs involving power, analog and digital circuit components, in any of the Central/State Government/ Private organizations.
Desirable:
• Practical experience of operating lab equipment like Mixed Signal Oscilloscope (MSO), Digital Power Supplies, Function generator etc. Knowledge in computers on Windows platform using MS Office. Handling of Sensitive electronic equipment like CCD/CMOS cameras.
2. Junior Technical Assistant (Electronics) :
• Diploma in Electronics Engineering (OR) Electronics & Communication Engineering (3 Year Full time) with minimum 60% marks in aggregate from Central/State Government/ AICTE recognized institute.
Desirable:
• Certificate course in design, soldering & testing of PCBs.
Experience:
• Minimum three (3) years of working experience in design, soldering & testing of PCBs involving both analog and digital circuit components (with at least two years of continuous work experience in the same company).
Desirable:
• Handling Test & Measurement equipment, radio frequency circuits.
3. Junior Technical Assistant (Electronics) :
• Diploma in Electronics Engineering (OR) Electronics & Communication Engineering (3 Year Full time) with minimum 60% marks in aggregate from Central/State Government/ AICTE recognized institute.
Desirable:
• Certificate course in design, soldering & testing of PCBs.
Experience:
• Minimum three (3) years of work experience in electronics hardware related to computers & networking (with two years of continuous work experience in the same company).
Desirable:
• Handling Test & Measurement equipment, analog & digital electronic circuits.
4. Junior Research Assistant (Observations) :
• B.Sc in Physics / Maths / Chemistry or B.Sc. in Information Technology or Electronics or BCA or equivalent with at least 60% marks in the aggregate from a recognized university / institute.
Desirable:
• Knowledge of instrumentation and computers.
Experience :
• Minimum 2 years experience in College / University laboratory or in a research laboratory of an R & D organization.
Desirable:
• Experience with astronomical telescopes.
5. Junior Research Assistant (Observations) :
• B.Sc in Physics / Maths / Chemistry or B.Sc. in Information Technology or Electronics or BCA or equivalent with at least 60% marks in the aggregate from a recognized university / institute.
Desirable:
• Knowledge of instrumentation and computers.

• Minimum 2 years experience in College / University laboratory or in a research laboratory of an R & D organization.
Desirable:
• Experience with astronomical telescopes.
6. Junior Research Assistant (Observations) :
• B.Sc in Physics / Maths / Chemistry or B.Sc. in Information Technology or Electronics or BCA or equivalent with at least 60% marks in the aggregate from a recognized university / institute.
Desirable:

Experience:
• Minimum 2 years experience in College / University laboratory or in a research laboratory of an R & D organization.
Desirable:
• Experience with astronomical telescopes.
7. Mechanic ‘A’ :
• SSLC with two years NCTVT certificate course (ITI) in the trade of Carpenter with at least 60% marks from a Govt. recognized Industrial Training Institute.
Experience:
• 2 years experience with One year National apprenticeship training certificate (NAC) or 3 years experience in a reputed research institute or in a medium scale industry doing carpentry work. Conversant with interpretation of engineering drawings.
Desirable:
• Conversant with engineering drawings. Operational knowledge of the drafting software “AutoCAD” is an advantage.
8. Engineer Trainee (IT Support) :
• B.E/B.Tech/M.Sc or equivalent in the field of Electronics and Telecommunication/Computer Science/IT with a recommended minimum of 60%* marks from a recognized University/Institution.
OR
• BCA/MCA with minimum of 60%* marks from a recognized University/Institution. * Percentage of marks is relaxable if candidate’s technical experience is exceptional.
Desirable:
• RedHat Certified Engineer (RHCE) Certification.
Desirable Experience:
• Candidates having working experience in the field of computer networking, hardware and OS Support will get preference.
9. Research Trainee (Optics) :
• M.Sc (Physics/Applied Optics) with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized University/Institution.
Desirable:
• Knowledge and experience in lab set-up and conducting tests on Optical components, scripting languages such as Python, Optical design and analysis software exposure.
