Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology / Master’s Degree in relevant disciplines (Physics/Mathematics/Chemistry/Computer Science/Engineering).
First-class academic record is mandatory.
The degree must be from a recognized university or institution.
Experience Requirements
Scientist ‘F’: At least 13 years of relevant experience.
Scientist ‘E’: Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
Scientist ‘D’: At least 7 years of experience in a related field.
Scientist ‘C’: Minimum 3 years of experience in the concerned domain.
Age Limit (As on 09.05.2025): Scientist – Not exceeding 50 years
Relaxation of Upper age limit:

| For PwBD (Gen/ EWS) Applicants: 10 years |
| For PwBD (SC/ ST) Applicants: 15 years |

Selection Process: The selection for DRDO RAC Scientist Posts will be based on:
Shortlisting of Applications – based on academic merit, experience, and other credentials.
Personal Interview – Candidates will be called for an interview by the selection board.
Final Merit List – Prepared based on performance in the interview and overall eligibility.
Note: For some disciplines, a screening test may also be conducted if the number of applicants is large.
