Experience: One year practical experience in non-destructive/metallographic techniques as employed in testing/ evaluation/ failure investigation of materials for candidates holding Master’s Degree in Physics OR Two years practical experience in non-destructive/ metallographic techniques as employed in testing/ evaluation/ failure investigation of materials for candidates holding Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering/ Metallurgy.
DESIRABLE: (i) Site Incharge Certificate of Radiation from Bhaba Atomic Research Centre level or I/ II/ III certificate in one or more of non-destructive testing methods from any recognized Society/ Institute. (ii) Knowledge of Welding technology.
2. Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor (Nephrology) –
Educational Qualification: (i) A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfil the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). (ii) Post-graduate degree in the concerned Speciality or Super-speciality mentioned in Section-A of Schedule VI from recognized Teaching Institute i.e., Doctorate of Medicine (Nephrology); or Diplomate National Board (Nephrology).
Experience: Three years’ teaching experience as Senior Resident or Tutor or Demonstrator or Registrar or Assistant Professor or Lecturer in the concerned Speciality or Super-speciality in a recognized teaching institution after obtaining the first Post-graduate degree.
3. Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor (Nuclear Medicine) –
Educational Qualification: (i) A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). (ii) Post-graduate degree in the concerned Speciality or Super-speciality mentioned in Section-A of Schedule VI from recognized Teaching Institute i.e., Doctor of Medicine (Nuclear Medicine); or Diplomate National Board (Nuclear Medicine); or Doctor of Medicine (Radio-Therapy) with two years’ experience in Nuclear Medicine in a recognized centre; or Diplomate National Board (Radio-Therapy) with two years’ experience in Nuclear Medicine in a recognized centre; or Doctor of Medicine (Medicine) with Diploma in Radiation Medicine or Diploma in Nuclear Medicine; or Diplomate National Board (Medicine) with Diploma in Radiation Medicine or Diploma in Nuclear Medicine; or Doctor of Medicine (Radio-Diagnosis) with two years’ experience in Nuclear Medicine in a recognized centre; or Diplomate National Board (RadioDiagnosis) with two years’ experience in Nuclear Medicine in a recognized centre; or Doctor of Medicine (Bio-Physics) or its equivalent qualification in Bio-Physics with Diploma in Radiation Medicine or Diploma in Nuclear Medicine.
Experience: At least three years’ teaching experience as Senior Resident or Tutor or Demonstrator or Registrar or Assistant Professor or Lecturer in the concerned Speciality or Super-speciality in a recognized teaching institution after obtaining the first Post-graduate degree.
4. Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor (Orthopaedics) –
Educational Qualification: (i) A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Experience: At least three years’ teaching experience as Senior Resident or Tutor or Demonstrator or Registrar or Assistant Professor or Lecturer in the concerned Speciality or Super-speciality in a recognized teaching institution after obtaining the first Post-graduate degree.
5. Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor (Paediatric Cardiology) –
Educational Qualification: (i) A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). 6. Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor (Paediatric Surgery) –

8. Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor (Surgical Oncology) –
Educational Qualification: (i) A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of Educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). 9. Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor ( Urology) –
Educational Qualification: (i) A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of Educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). (ii) Post-Graduate degree in the concerned specialty or super specialty mentioned in Section A of Schedule VI of CHS Rules from recognized Teaching Institute i.e. Magister Chirurguie (Urology); or Diplomate of National Board (Urology).
Experience: Three years teaching experience as Senior Resident or Tutor or Demonstrator or Registrar or Assistant Professor or Lecturer in the concerned Speciality or Super-Speciality in a recognized teaching institution after obtaining the first Postgraduate degree.
10. Research Officer (Chemistry) –
Educational Qualification: Master Degree in Organic Chemistry from a recognized University or Institute.
Experience: Three years experience in teaching and research in quality control of insecticides or antimalarials, under any of the Schemes of the Central Government or State Government.
11. Scientist ‘B’ (Chemistry) –
Educational Qualification: Master’s Degree in Chemistry from a recognized University or Institute. Experience:Possessing three years’ experience in the field of Chemistry.
12. Scientist ‘B’ (Physics) –
Educational Qualification: Master’s Degree in Physics from a recognized University or Institute.

13. Investigator Grade-I –
Essential Qualifications: Post Graduate Degree in Economics/ Applied Economics/ Business Economics/ Econometrics from a recognized University/ Institute or equivalent; or Post Graduate Degree in Mathematics/ Statistics/ Commerce with one paper in Economics from a recognized University/ Institute or equivalent.
14. Assistant Chemist –
Educational Qualification: Master’s Degree in Chemistry from a Recognised University or Institution.
Experience: Two (02) years’ experience in chemical analysis of ores and minerals from a laboratory recognized as a Research Laboratory by Council of Scientific and Industrial Research or Department of Science and Technology or any other such Government organization carrying out chemical analysis of ores and minerals.
15. Nautical Surveyor – Deputy Director General (Technical) –
Educational Qualification: Certificate of Competency as Master of a Foreign Going Ship as recognized by the Government of India.
Experience: Five years service as Deck Officer, after obtaining the certificate of competency of second mate (Foreign Going), of which one year must have been in capacity of a Master on a Foreign going ship.
Desirable: (i) Extra Master’s Certificate of Competency; or Master of Science Degree in Maritime Affairs awarded by a recognized University. (ii) Experience in survey and inspection of merchant ships and examination work for one year or more on the date of submission of application to the Union Public Service Commission.
16. Assistant Professor (BBA) –
Educational Qualification: (i) Master’s Degree (MBA) with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) from a recognized University/ Institute. (ii) Must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) (Management) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR or a similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET (State Level Eligibility) OR who are OR have been awarded a Ph.D Degree in Management in accordance with the UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil/Ph.D Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments from time to time as the case may be exempted from NET/SLET/SET. Provided, the candidates registered for the Ph.D programme prior to July11, 2009 shall be governed by the provisions of the then existing Ordinances/Bye laws/Regulations of the Institutions awarding the degree and such Ph.D candidates shall be exempted from the requirement of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor in Universities/Colleges/Institutions subject to the fulfillment of the following conditions :- a) Ph.D degree of the candidate has been awarded in regular mode; b) Ph.D thesis has been evaluated by at least two external examiners. c) An open Ph.D viva voce of the candidate has been conducted; d) The Candidate has published two research papers from his/her Ph.D work out of which at least one must be in a refereed journal. e) The candidate has presented at least two papers based on his/her Ph.D work in conference/ seminars, sponsored/funded/supported by the UGC/ICSSR/CSIR or any similar agency. The fulfilment of the conditions (a) to (e) as above are to be certified by the Registrar/Dean (Academic Affairs) of the University Concerned. OR (B) Ph. D degree in Management from a foreign University /Institution.
17. Assistant Professor (Commerce General) –
Educational Qualification: (A) (i) Master’s Degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever the grading system is followed) in Commerce from a recognized University/ Institute. (ii) Must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) (Commerce) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR or a similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/ SET (State Level Eligibility Test) OR who are OR have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in Commerce in accordance with the UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil/Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 and their Amendments from time to time as the case may be exempted from NET/SLET/SET. (ii) Must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) (Commerce/Corporate Secretaryship) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR or a similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/ SET (State Level Eligibility Test) OR who are OR have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in Commerce/Corporate Secretaryship in accordance with the UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil/Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 and their Amendments from time to time as the case may be exempted from NET/SLET/SET. Educational Qualification: (i) Master’s Degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever the grading system is followed) in Hindi from a recognized University/ Institute. (ii) Must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) (Hindi) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR or a similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/ SET (State Level Eligibility Test) OR who are OR have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in Hindi in accordance with the UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil/Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 and their Amendments from time to time as the case may be exempted from NET/SLET/SET. 22. Assistant Professor (Music) –
Educational Qualification: (i) Master’s Degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) in Music from a recognized University/ Institute. (ii) Must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) (Music) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR or a similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET (State Level Eligibility ) OR who are OR have been awarded a Ph.D Degree in Music in accordance with the UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil/Ph.D Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments from time to time as the case may be exempted from NET/SLET/SET. Provided, the candidates registered for the Ph.D programme prior to July11, 2009 shall be governed by the provisions of the then existing Ordinances/Bye laws/Regulations of the Institutions awarding the degree and such Ph.D candidates shall be exempted from the requirement of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor in Universities/Colleges/Institutions subject to the fulfillment of the following conditions :- a) Ph.D degree of the candidate has been awarded in regular mode; b) Ph.D thesis has been evaluated by at least two external examiners. c) An open Ph.D viva voce of the candidate has been conducted; d) The Candidate has published two research papers from his/her Ph.D work out of which at least one must be in a refereed journal. e) The candidate has presented at least two papers based on his/her Ph.D work in conference/ seminars, sponsored/funded/supported by the UGC/ICSSR/CSIR or any similar agency. OR (B) A traditional or a Professional Artist with highly commendable professional achievement in the subject concerned having a Bachelor’s Degree, who : i) Has Studied under a noted/ reputed traditional Masters(s)/ Artist (s). ii) Has been ‘A’ grade artist of AIR/Doordarshan; iii) Has the ability to explain, with logical reasoning the subject concerned, and iv) Has adequate knowledge to teach theory with illustrations in the discipline concerned.
23. Assistant Professor (Psychology) –
Educational Qualification: (i) Master’s Degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever the grading system is followed) in Psychology from a recognized University/ Institute. (ii) Must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) (Psychology) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR or a similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/ SET (State Level Eligibility Test) OR who are OR have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in Psychology in accordance with the UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil/Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 and their Amendments from time to time as the case may be exempted from NET/SLET/SET. (ii) Enrollment on the Central Register of Indian Medicine or State Register of Indian Medicine.
