UPSC Recruitment 2023 43 Mineral Officer (Intelligence) Posts: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released a job notification inviting online applications for the recruitment of 43 Assistant Director, Assistant Library and Information Officer, Specialist Grade, Deputy Director of Mines Safety, Deputy Ore Dressing Officer, and Mineral Officer (Intelligence) Posts. The online application process has started on 25th February 2023 and will continue until 16th March 2023. Salary Details:
1. Assistant Director (Capital Market) – Level- 08 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC.
2. Assistant Library and Information Officer (Kannada) – Level- 07 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC.
3. Specialist Grade III (Radio-diagnosis) – Level- 11 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC plus N.P.A
4. Specialist Grade III (Obstetrics and Gynaecology) – Level- 11 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC plus N.P.A
5. Specialist Grade III (Tuberculosis) – Level- 11 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC plus N.P.A
6. Deputy Director of Mines Safety (Electrical) – Level- 12 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC
7. Deputy Ore Dressing Officer – Level11 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC
8. Mineral Officer (Intelligence) – Level07 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC.
Eligiblity Criteria : To apply for the above-mentioned posts, candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree, or equivalent qualification from a recognized university. The eligibility criteria for each post may vary, and candidates are advised to read the official notification carefully before applying.
Essential Qualification : Master’s Degree in Geology or Applied Geology or Economics or Bachelor’s Degree in Mining Engineering from a recognized University or Institute. Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing, in the case of candidates otherwise well qualified.
Experience: Two years’ experience in the field of mining or compilation or processing of data, pertaining to Mining or geology or utilization and marketing of minerals and their products in organization dealing with mines and minerals; or in a Government department dealing with mines and minerals.
Age limit : Age Not exceeding 30 years as on closing date. Not exceeding 30 years for EWS candidates as on closing date in respect of the vacancy reserved for them.Not exceeding 33 years for Other Backward Classes candidates as on closing date in respect of the vacancy reserved for them. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/U.T. Government servants up to five years as per instructions/orders issued by Govt. of India from time to time. Recruitment Test (RT)
Interview
The selection process for the UPSC Mineral Officer (Intelligence) Recruitment 2023 will consist of a written test followed by an interview. The written test will be conducted in online mode, and candidates who qualify in the written test will be called for an interview.
Application Fee For UPSC Mineral Officer (Intelligence):
- Candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs. 25/- (Rupees Twenty five) only either by remitting the money in any branch of the SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of the SBI or by using visa/master credit/debit card.
- Fee Collection By Challan Mode (Pay by Cash) one day before the closing date(Timing 11:59 P.M.)
