Preliminary Examination of the CSE for recruitment to the Services and Posts mentioned below:

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification : Graduate degree of any Stream

Age Limit  (As on 11.02.2025) : Applicants must have attained the age of 21 (Twenty One) years and must not have attained the age of 32 (Thirty Two) years on the 1st of August, 2025 i.e., the Applicants must have been born not earlier than 2nd Aug, 1993 and not later than 1st Aug, 2004.

Nationality: The candidate must be:

A citizen of India for IAS and IPS.

A citizen of India or a subject of Nepal/Bhutan or a Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 for other services.

Number of Attempts:

General: 6 attempts

OBC: 9 attempts

SC/ST: Unlimited attempts (up to the age limit)

Salary Structure: The salary for the selected candidates varies depending on the service and level. Below is an overview of the pay scale:

Basic Pay:

    • Initial Basic Pay: Rs. 56,100/- per month (Pay Level 10).
