Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification for TN TRB Assistant Professor 2025
Assistant Professor (Law): A Master’s Degree in Law with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade). Must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC or similar test accredited by UGC. Candidates with a Ph.D. degree in Law are exempted from NET/SLET/SET.
Assistant Professor (Pre-Law): A Master’s Degree in relevant subjects like Political Science, History, Economics, etc., with at least 55% marks. Must have cleared NET/SLET/SET or possess a Ph.D. in the relevant field.
Associate Professor: A Ph.D. Degree in Law or relevant discipline. A minimum of 8 years of teaching or research experience in a recognized institution.
Age Limit (As on 01.07.2025):
1. Associate Professor (Post Code AO 25) – 45 years
2. Assistant Professor (Post Code LC 25) – 40 years
3. Assistant Professor (Pre – Law) (Post Code PL 25) – 40 years
