Educational Qualification:
| 1. Sports Quota – Level 5/4 – Minimum Graduation in any Discipline from a recognized University. Sports Achievements/Eligibility Norms : Represented the country in the Olympic Games (Senior Category), At least 3rd position in World Cup (Junior/Youth/Senior) OR At least 3rd position in World Championships (Junior /Senior ) OR At least 3rd position in Asian Games (Senior) OR At least 3rd position in Commonwealth Games (Senior) OR At least 3rd position in Youth Olympics OR At least 3rd position in Champions Trophy (Hockey) OR At least 3rd position in Davis Cup (Tennis) OR At least 3rd position in Thomas / Uber Cup (Badminton) |
| 2. Sports Quota – Level 3/2 – Passed 12th (#2 stage) OR its Equivalent Examination OR Passed Matriculation plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship OR Passed Matriculation plus ITI approved by NCVT/SCVT. OR Passed 10th from a recognized Board may also be eligible to be posted as Tech-III. Sports Quota – Level 1 – 10th Pass OR ITI OR Equivalent Sports Achievements/Eligibility Norms : Represented the country in any of the Category C Championships/events OR At least 3rd Position in Federation Cup Championships (Senior Category) OR Represented a State of equivalent Unit, except in Marathon and Cross Country with at least 8th position in Senior National championships only. |
| Notes: Persons if appointed to the category of Clerk-cum-Typist should acquire a Typing proficiency Test of 30 w.p.m. in English or 25 w.p.m. in Hindi within a period of four years from the date of appointment and to such time their appointments to this category will be provisional. Candidates possessing higher qualifications should produce a graduation /Post graduation certificate at the time of trial. No relaxation in minimum educational qualification shall be permissible in the case of Open Advertisement Recruitment. |
Age Limit: Age Limit Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years as on 01/01/2024. Candidates born between 01/01/1999 and 01/01/2006 (both days inclusive) should only apply. Candidates born on or before 31/12/1998 are not eligible. Similarly, candidates born on or after 02/01/2006 are also note eligible. (No relaxation in lower or upper age limit for any Community of candidate).
Selection Process: The selection process for the SECR Sports Person Posts will typically involve the following stages:
