Eligibility Criteria: Before applying, candidates must ensure they meet the eligibility requirements as specified in the SBI PO 2025 notification:

Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university or equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.

Final year/semester students can also apply, provided they produce proof of passing the graduation examination on or before 31st December 2024.

Age Limit: Minimum Age: 21 years, Maximum Age: 30 years (as of 1st April 2024).Relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable for reserved categories as per government norms:

SC/ST: 5 years

OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years

PwBD: 10 years

Salary Details: The selected candidates will receive an attractive salary package:

Basic Pay: ₹41,960 per month (in the scale of ₹41,960 – ₹49,910 – ₹55,870 – ₹61,840 – ₶93,870 – ₶111,240)

Other allowances include Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), City Compensatory Allowance (CCA), and more, depending on the location and other factors.

The total CTC including perks and benefits is approximately ₹14-16 lakh per annum.

Selection Process: The recruitment process for SBI PO 2025 consists of three stages:

Phase I: Preliminary Examination

  • Mode: Online
  • Duration: 1 hour
  • Pattern:
    • English Language: 30 questions (20 minutes)
    • Quantitative Aptitude: 35 questions (20 minutes)
    • Reasoning Ability: 35 questions (20 minutes)
    • Total: 100 questions, 100 marks
  • Candidates will need to qualify in each section with a minimum cutoff to proceed to the next phase.

Phase II: Main Examination

  • Mode: Online
  • Objective Test (200 marks):
    • Reasoning & Computer Aptitude: 45 questions (60 minutes)
    • Data Analysis & Interpretation: 35 questions (45 minutes)
    • General/Economy/Banking Awareness: 40 questions (35 minutes)
    • English Language: 35 questions (40 minutes)
  • Descriptive Test (50 marks):
    • Essay and Letter Writing (30 minutes)
  • Total Duration: 3 hours and 30 minutes

Phase III: Group Exercise and Interview

  • Group Exercise: 20 marks
  • Interview: 30 marks
  • The final merit list will be prepared based on scores in the Main Examination (both objective and descriptive) and Phase III.
