Eligibility Criteria : Before applying for the RRB Para Medical Posts, candidates must ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria as specified in the official notification. The eligibility criteria are as follows:
Educational Qualification:
| 1. Dietician (Level 7) – B Sc (Science Graduate) with Post Graduate Diploma in Dietetics (one year course) from a recognized institution plus 3 months internship training in a hospital. (OR) B.Sc Home Science + M.Sc Home Science (Food and Nutrition) from a recognised institution. |
| 2. Nursing Superintendent – Certificate as Registered Nurse and Midwife having passed 3 years course in General Nursing and Midwifery from a school of Nursing (OR) other institution recognized by the Indian Nursing Council OR B.Sc Nursing. |
| 3. Audiologist & Speech Therapist – Bachelor in Audiology, Speech Language Pathology (BASLP) from a recognized University and must be registered with Rehabilitation Council of lndia (RCl). |
| 4. Clinical Psychologist – Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology / Social Psychology from a recognized University |
| 5. Dental Hygienist – (a) Degree in Science (Biology) from a recognized university or equivalent AND (b) Diploma / Certificate Course (2 years) in Dental Hygiene from an institute recognized by Dental Council of India AND (c) Must Registered with Dental Council of India as Dental Hygienist AND (d) Minimum 2 years experience as Dental Hygienist. |

| 9. Perfusionist – B.Sc with Diploma in Perfusion Technology (OR) B.Sc and Three years experience in Cardio Pulmonary Pump Technician in Reputed Recognised Hospital. |
| 10. Physiotherapist Grade II – Bachelors Degree in With Minimum Two years practical experience in Physiotherapy from the Govt / Private Hospital with atleast one hundred beds. |

| 12. Cath Laboratory Technician – B.Sc and Diploma from a reputed Cardiac Lab in Cardiac Professional Cath Lab work or two years house training / experience in a reputed Cardiac Cath LABORATORY. |
| 13. Pharmacist (Entry Grade) – 10+2 in Science or its equivalent, with Diploma in Pharmacy (OR) Bachelor degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharma) |
| 14. Radiographer X-Ray Technician – 10+2 with Physics and Chemistry and Diploma in Radiography / X Ray Technician / Radiodiagnosis Technology (2 years course) from recognized Insitute. Science graduates with Diploma in Radiography / Radiodiagnosis Technology X Ray Technician / (Two years course) shall be preferred |
| 15. Speech Therapist – (i) B.Sc and Diploma in Audio and Speech Therapy (ii) 2 years experience in the related field. |
| 16. Cardiac Technician – Higher Secondary (10+2) in Science and certificate course(OR) Diploma in Cardiology Lab Investigations consisting of ECG, Holter and TMT. Candidate trained in Echocardiography is preferable |
| 17. Optometrist – B.Sc in Optometry or Diploma in Ophthalmic Technician (the course should be of 3 to 4 years duration). The Applicant should have Registration with the concerned Council / Licensing body |
| 18. ECG Technician – 10+2 / Graduation in Science having Certificate/Diploma/ Degree in ECG Laboratory Technology / Cardiology / Cardiology Technician / Cardiology Techniques of a reputed institution. |

Age Limit(As on 16.09.2024) : Minimum Age: 18 years, Maximum Age: 36 years, Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST candidates (5 years), OBC candidates (3 years), and persons with disabilities (10 years).
Nationality : Candidates must be Indian citizens.
Salary Structure : The salary structure for the RRB Para Medical Posts is as follows:
Staff Nurse: Level 7 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix with an initial pay of ₹44,900/- plus other allowances as admissible.
Health & Malaria Inspector: Level 6 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix with an initial pay of ₹35,400/- plus other allowances as admissible.
Pharmacist: Level 5 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix with an initial pay of ₹29,200/- plus other allowances as admissible.
Radiographer: Level 4 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix with an initial pay of ₹25,500/- plus other allowances as admissible.
The salary is subject to revision as per government norms and includes additional perks like DA, HRA, and other allowances.
Selection Process: The selection process for the RRB Para Medical Posts 2024 will consist of the following stages:
Computer-Based Test (CBT): The CBT will be the primary stage of selection, comprising objective-type questions. The syllabus for the CBT will include subjects like General Awareness, General Intelligence, Arithmetic, and technical subjects relevant to the specific posts.
Document Verification: Candidates who qualify in the CBT will be called for document verification. Candidates must produce original documents proving their eligibility, age, and qualifications.
Medical Examination: After document verification, candidates will undergo a medical examination to ensure they meet the required health standards for the post.
