Eligibility Criteria for RRB NTPC Recruitment 2024
Educational Qualification: Candidates must meet the following educational qualifications based on the specific post they are applying for:
- Chief Commercial – Ticket Supervisor, Station Master, Goods Train Manager: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university or its equivalent.
- Junior Account Assistant – Typist, Senior Clerk – Typist: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university or its equivalent. Candidates applying for the Typist post should have proficiency in typing.
- Commercial – Ticket Clerk, Accounts Clerk – Typist, Junior Clerk – Typist, Trains Clerk: 12th (+2 Stage) or its equivalent examination from a recognized board with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. The typing proficiency is required for the Typist posts.
Age Limit:
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 33 years (for undergraduate posts), 36 years (for graduate posts)

Salary Details : The salary for the selected candidates will vary depending on the specific NTPC position:
- Chief Commercial – Ticket Supervisor, Station Master, Goods Train Manager: Level 6 (₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400)
- Junior Account Assistant – Typist, Senior Clerk – Typist: Level 5 (₹29,200 – ₹92,300)
- Commercial – Ticket Clerk, Accounts Clerk – Typist, Junior Clerk – Typist, Trains Clerk: Level 2 to Level 3 (₹19,900 – ₹81,100)
Selection Process: The selection process for RRB NTPC 2024 will consist of several stages, each designed to assess the candidates’ suitability for the posts. The stages include:
Computer Based Test (CBT) – Stage 1: This is a preliminary test that all applicants must take. It includes questions on General Awareness, Mathematics, and General Intelligence and Reasoning.
