Vacancies & Reservation: POWERGRID Recruitment Vacancies
Eligibility Criteria: Candidates applying for POWERGRID recruitment must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:
Diploma Trainee (Electrical)
- Educational Qualification: Full-time Diploma in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 70% marks.
- Age Limit: Maximum 27 years as on the cut-off date. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per government norms.
Diploma Trainee (Civil)
- Educational Qualification: Full-time Diploma in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 70% marks.
- Age Limit: Maximum 27 years as on the cut-off date. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories.
Junior Officer Trainee (HR)
- Educational Qualification: Full-time Post Graduate Diploma or MBA in Human Resource Management or Personnel Management from a recognized university or institute with a minimum of 55% marks.
- Age Limit: Maximum 28 years as on the cut-off date.
Junior Officer Trainee (F&A)
- Educational Qualification: B.Com or equivalent from a recognized university with a minimum of 55% marks. Candidates with higher qualifications such as M.Com/ MBA in Finance will be preferred.
- Age Limit: Maximum 28 years.
Assistant Trainee (F&A)
- Educational Qualification: B.Com with a minimum of 55% marks or higher qualifications.
- Age Limit: Maximum 28 years.
Note: Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwD/Ex-Servicemen candidates will be as per Government of India guidelines.
Salary and Pay Scale:
- Diploma Trainee (Electrical & Civil): Selected candidates will undergo training for a period of one year, during which they will be paid a consolidated stipend of ₹27,500 per month. Upon successful completion of the training, they will be absorbed as Junior Engineers in the pay scale of ₹25,000 – ₹1,17,500.
- Junior Officer Trainee (HR & F&A): Candidates will receive a stipend of ₹27,500 during their training period. Upon confirmation, they will be placed in the pay scale of ₹25,000 – ₹1,17,500.
- Assistant Trainee (F&A): Stipend during the training period is ₹25,000 per month, and upon confirmation, the salary will range between ₹23,000 – ₹1,05,000.
Other allowances and benefits include dearness allowance, perks and benefits, medical benefits, retirement benefits, and performance-related pay as applicable under POWERGRID’s rules.
Selection Process: The selection process for POWERGRID Recruitment 2024 involves the following stages:
