Educational Qualification:

1. Junior Officer (Trainee) – Commercial – Degree in Engineering or Graduate from Recognized University with MBA or PG Degree/ Diploma in Marketing/ Foreign Trade/ Sales Mgt. Or Graduate with CA/ ICMA.
2. Junior Officer (Trainee) – Environment – Degree in Civil/ Chemical/ Mining/ Environment Engineering or PG Degree in Environmental Management/Engineering/Environmental Science/ Geology/ Chemistry/ Botany Or PG Degree/ Diploma in Environment Management (Two years duration) Or Ph.D in Environment Studies/ Impact Assessment from a recognized University/ Institute.
3. Junior Officer (Trainee) – Geo & QC – M.Sc./ M.Sc. (Tech.)/ M.Tech in Geology from a recognized University/ Institute.
4. Junior Officer (Trainee) – Mining – Three years Diploma in Mining Engineering from a recognized University/Institute with Foreman’s Certificate of Competency to open cast metalliferous mine Or Degree in Mining Engineering from a recognized University/Institute with 2nd Class Mines Manager Certificate of Competency to open cast metalliferous mine.
Experience: 5 years
5. Junior Officer (Trainee) – Survey – Three years Diploma in Mining or Diploma in Mines & Mine Surveying from a recognized University/ Institute and Mine Surveyor’s Certificate of competency under MMR.
Experience: 5 years
6. Junior Officer (Trainee) – Chemical – M.Sc. (Chemistry)/ Degree in Chemical Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute.
7. Junior Officer (Trainee) – Civil – Three years Diploma in Civil Engineering Or Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/Institute.
Experience: 5 years
8. Junior Officer (Trainee) – Electrical – Three years Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University/Institute with Electrical Supervisory Certificate (Mining) of Competency Or Degree in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering from a recognized University/Institute.

9. Junior Officer (Trainee) – IE – Degree in Industrial Engineering Or Degree in Mining/ Mechanical/ Production Engineering with PG Degree/ Diploma in Industrial Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute.
10. Junior Officer (Trainee) – Mechanical – Three years Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Or Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University/Institute.
Experience: 5 years

Age Limit: The maximum age limit for candidates applying for Junior Officer (Trainee) positions is 32 years. Age relaxations will apply as per government norms for candidates belonging to reserved categories such as SC, ST, OBC, PwD, etc.

Salary Structure: Candidates selected for the Junior Officer (Trainee) positions will undergo training, during which they will receive a stipend. Upon successful completion of the training period, they will be absorbed into the regular pay scale.

  • Stipend during training: ₹37,000/- per month
  • After successfully completing the training period, the pay scale will range between ₹37,000 to ₹1,30,000 per month.
