- Qualification: MBBS Degree with Post-Graduate degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related fields. Ph.D. holders in relevant fields will be preferred.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in Public Health Research or related fields.
- Age Limit: Maximum age should not exceed 70 years.
Consultant (Scientific – Non-medical):
- Qualification: Master’s Degree in Epidemiology, Public Health, Statistics, or a related field. Preference for Ph.D. holders.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in research, scientific writing, or analysis.
- Age Limit: Up to 70 years.
Consultant (Technical – Non-medical) (Statistics):
- Qualification: Master’s Degree in Statistics/Biostatistics from a recognized university.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in relevant fields like data analysis, biostatistics, or project management.
- Age Limit: Maximum age 70 years.
Consultant (Technical – Non-medical):
- Qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in relevant fields such as IT, Engineering, or related technical fields.
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in relevant fields.
- Age Limit: 70 years.
Salary Details: The pay scale varies depending on the position and the candidate’s qualifications and experience. The selected candidates will receive a consolidated remuneration as per government norms.
- Consultant (Scientific – Medical): Approx. INR 1,00,000 – INR 1,50,000 per month.
- Consultant (Scientific – Non-medical): Approx. INR 90,000 – INR 1,20,000 per month.
- Consultant (Technical – Non-medical) (Statistics): Approx. INR 80,000 – INR 1,10,000 per month.
- Consultant (Technical – Non-medical): Approx. INR 70,000 – INR 1,00,000 per month.
The exact pay structure will be determined based on the selected candidates’ qualifications and experience, in accordance with NIE Chennai’s guidelines.
