Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university or its equivalent as of 01.01.2025. Proficiency in the regional language of the state/UT for which the candidate is applying is essential.

Age Limit: Minimum age: 21 years, Maximum age: 30 years, Age relaxation is applicable as per government rules:

SC/ST: 5 years

OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years

PwBD: 10 years

Ex-Servicemen: As per rules

Nationality: The candidate must be an Indian citizen.

Salary Details: The selected candidates will receive a starting basic pay of ₹23,500/- per month, in the scale of ₹23,500-750(1)-24,250-800(2)-25,850-900(5)-30,350-1,100(2)-32,550-1,200(5)-38,550-1,350(4)-43,950/- and other allowances as applicable. The total emoluments at the initial stage will be approximately ₹42,000/- per month, depending on the place of posting.

Selection Process: The selection process for NIACL Assistant 2025 consists of the following stages:

Preliminary Examination (Phase I):

    • Objective test for 100 marks.
    • Sections: English Language, Reasoning Ability, and Quantitative Aptitude.
    • Duration: 1 hour.
    • Candidates qualifying in this phase will proceed to the Main Examination.

Main Examination (Phase II):

    • Objective test for 250 marks.
    • Sections: Reasoning, English Language, General Awareness, Computer Knowledge, and Quantitative Aptitude.
    • Duration: 2 hours.
    • Marks obtained in the Main Examination will be considered for final selection.

Regional Language Test (Phase III): Candidates must qualify in the regional language test for the state/UT they have applied for. This test is qualifying in nature.

Final Selection: Based on the performance in the Main Examination, subject to qualifying the Regional Language Test.
