Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications: NCPOR Project Scientist Recruitment 2024

Project Scientist-I: Master’s degree or equivalent in the relevant field (such as Environmental Sciences, Marine Biology, Oceanography, Geology, or related disciplines). Candidates with additional research experience in the relevant field will be preferred.

Project Scientist-II: Master’s degree or Ph.D. in the relevant field. Minimum 3 years of research/teaching experience post-qualification for candidates with a Master’s degree.

Age Limit:

Project Scientist-I: Not exceeding 35 years.

Project Scientist-II: Not exceeding 40 years.

Age relaxation for reserved categories as per Government of India norms.

Salary Structure

  • Project Scientist-I: ₹56,000 per month plus admissible allowances.
  • Project Scientist-II: ₹67,000 per month plus admissible allowances.

Selection Process: The selection process involves the following stages:

Shortlisting of Applications: Based on qualifications, experience, and relevance to the position.

Walk-in-Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for an in-person or online interview.

Final Selection: Merit-based considering academic records, experience, and performance in the interview.
