Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification for NAL: Candidates applying for Scientist Posts must have:

• Ph.D. / M.E. / M.Tech in relevant disciplines such as Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or equivalent fields from a recognized university.
• Candidates should have strong research and development experience in their respective fields.

1. Scientist / Gr.IV(2) S-101 – Education Qualification:  PhD submitted in the area of Chemistry / Materials Science / Metallurgical Engineering Desirable Qualification/Experience: Experience in one or more of the following areas: Electrochemistry, Corrosion, Coating development by chemical / electrochemical processes and surface characterization

2. Scientist / Gr.IV(2) S-102- Education Qualification:  Ph.D submitted in the area of Chemistry / Materials Science Desirable Qualification/Experience: Experience in the area of fuel cell fabrication and testing

3. Scientist / Gr.IV(2) S-103-  Education Qualification: ME/M.Tech in the area of Polymer Science & Technology or Polymer Chemistry or Ph.D submitted in the area of Polymer Science & Technology or Polymer Chemistry Desirable Qualification/Experience: Experience in one or more of the following areas: Materials characterization, polymer synthesis, fiber science and Carbonization process.

4. Scientist / Gr.IV(2) S-104-  Education Qualification: ME/M.Tech. in the area of Metallurgical Engineering / Materials Engineering or Ph.D submitted in the area of Metallurgical Engineering / Materials Engineering Desirable Qualification/Experience: Experience in one or more of the following areas: Metallurgical characterization techniques including Scanning electron microscopy, fractography, image analysis, EDS analysis. Experience in the area of aerospace alloys such as aluminium, titanium and nickel based superalloys

5. Scientist / Gr.IV(2) S-105-  Education Qualification: ME/M. Tech. in the area of Materials Engineering / Materials Technology / Ceramics Engineering / Ceramics Technology or Ph. D. submitted in the area of Materials Engineering / Materials Technology / Ceramics Engineering / Ceramics Technology Desirable Qualification/Experience: Experience in one or more of the following areas: (i) Materials characterisation including mechanical, thermal, microstructural, thermo-mechanical properties (ii) Structure- property processing correlation studies of continuous fibre reinforced ceramic matrix composites (CFCC) and (iii) Chemical Vapour Infiltration (CVI) and other methods are used to synthesize CFCC.

6. Scientist / Gr.IV(2) S-106-  Education Qualification: ME/M.Tech in the area of Electronic & Communication Engineering. Desirable Qualification/Experience: Experience in the area of Embedded systems, hardware and software

Scientist / Gr.IV(2) S-107-  Education Qualification: ME/M.Tech in the area of Electronics & Communication Engineering / Microwave Engineering / Radar Engineering or Ph.D (Science/Engineering) submitted in the area of Electromagnetics with specialization in the area of Frequency Selective Surfaces (FSS), Antennas & Stealth Technology Desirable Qualification/Experience: Experience in the area of Electromagnetics (including measurements)

8. Scientist / Gr.IV(2) S-108-  Education Qualification: ME/M.Tech in the area of Mechanical Engineering with specialization in machine design / production / industrial engineering Desirable Qualification/Experience: Experience in the area of design, fabrication and maintenance of mechanical systems

9. Scientist / Gr.IV(2) S-109- Education Qualification:  ME/M.Tech in the area of Systems Engineering / Aerospace Engineering / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or Ph.D submitted in the area of Systems Engineering / Aerospace Engineering / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering Desirable Qualification/Experience: Experience in the area of Systems Engineering

10. Scientist / Gr.IV(2) S-110-  Education Qualification: ME/M.Tech in the area of Computer Science / Information Science / ECE / EEE / Instrumentation and Control / Aerospace Engineering or Ph.D (Science/Engineering) submitted in the area of Computer Science / Information Science / ECE / EEE / Instrumentation and Control / Aerospace Engineering Desirable Qualification/Experience: Experience in one or more of the following areas C, C++ Programming and Computer graphics or Experience in the area of Matlab / Simulink or Experience in the area of C, C++ Programming and Computer graphics and Matlab / Simulink

11. Scientist / Gr.IV(2) S-111-  Education Qualification: M.E/ M.Tech in the area of Power Electronics / Electrical Machines and Drives / Power System / Control and Automation. Desirable Qualification/Experience: Experience in CAD tools (e.g., MATLAB, AutoCAD, Looming Software).

12. Scientist / Gr.IV(2) S-112-  Education Qualification: ME/M.Tech in the area of Mechanical Engineering / Machine Design Desirable Qualification/Experience: Experience in one or more of the following areas: Airframe Vibration, Data Acquisition System, Signal Processing, Signal Analysis. Exposure to Elastic Wave Simulation and Testing.

13. Scientist / Gr.IV(2) S-113-  Education Qualification: ME/M.Tech in the area of Design Engineering / Aerospace Engineering Desirable Qualification/Experience: Experience in one or more of the following areas: CAE software like Hypermesh / Nastran, Aeroelastic Model Design, Aeroelastic Analysis and GVT-based Flutter Analysis.

14. Scientist / Gr.IV(2) S-114-  Education Qualification: M.E./M.Tech in the area of Aerospace / Mechanical Engineering Desirable Qualification/Experience: Experience in the areas of Advanced measurement techniques/systems.

15. Scientist / Gr.IV(2) S-115-  Education Qualification: M.E / M.Tech in the area of Aerospace / Mechanical / Civil Engineering Desirable Qualification/Experience: Experience in one or more of the following areas: Composite Manufacturing and Design Methods.

Scientist / Gr.IV(2) S-116-  Education Qualification: M.E / M.Tech in the area of Electronics / VLSI System/ Embedded Systems / Instruments Engineering Desirable Qualification/Experience: Experience in one or more of the following areas: Digital Electronics, Signal Processing, MATLAB / LABVIEW, etc.

21. Scientist / Gr.IV(2) S-121- Education Qualification:  M.E/M.Tech in the area of Engineering in Tool Design / Tool Engineering Desirable Qualification/Experience: Experience in one or more of the following areas: Design of Aircraft Assembly Jigs, Fixtures, ICY Gauges, Ground handling Equipment’s with working knowledge of CAD Tools (CATIA/ AutoCAD).

22. Scientist / Gr.IV(2) S-122-  Education Qualification: M.E/ M.Tech in the area of Aerospace / Aeronautical / Mechanical Engineering Desirable Qualification/Experience: Experience in one or more of the following areas: Quality Control in established Aerospace / ReguIatory & Certification organizations; familiarity with latest Civil Aviation Requirement-21, IMAP, IMTAR-21, AFQMS, AS9100 Rev D, Human Factors & Organization approvals

23. Scientist / Gr.IV(2) S-123- Education Qualification: M.E./M.Tech. in the area of Mechanical/Industrial/Product ion Engineering Desirable Qualification/Experience: Experience in one or more of the following areas: Understanding engineering drawings related to aircraft parts, assembly drawings and installation drawings. Knowledge of using computer CAD tools. Knowledge of raw materials and manufacturing process used in aircraft parts.

24. Scientist / Gr.IV(2) S-124-  Education Qualification: M.E/M.Tech. in the area of Mechanical Engineering/ Aeronautical Engineering Desirable Qualification/Experience: Experience in the area of aircraft manufacturing, assembly, inspection and structural repair practices.

25. Scientist / Gr.IV(2) S-125-  Education Qualification: M.E/ M.Tech. in the area of Aerospace / Aeronautical / Mechanical Engineering. Desirable Qualification/Experience: Experience in one or more of the following areas: Programming languages (e.g. C/C++/MATLAB). Knowledge of CAD tools (e.g. AutoCAD/CATIA). Experience in airplane design and analysis software (e.g. Advanced Aircraft Analysis).

26. Scientist / Gr.IV(2) S-126-  Education Qualification: M.E/ M.Tech in the area of Mechanical Engineering Desirable Qualification/Experience: Experience in one or more of the following areas: Thermal Engineering / Fluid Science of Turbo machinery.

27. Scientist / Gr.IV(2) S-127- Education Qualification: M.E/ M.Tech in the area of Mechanical Engineering Desirable Qualification/Experience: Experience in one or more of the following areas: Thermal Engineering / Fluid Science of Turbo machinery

28. Scientist / Gr.IV(2) S-128- Education Qualification: M.E/ M.Tech in the area of Mechanical Design / Machine design . Desirable Qualification/Experience: Experience in one or more of the following areas: Fracture Mechanics, FEM analysis and design of wind tunnel balances Design of machine elements and failure analysis.

29. Scientist / Gr.IV(2) S-129-  Education Qualification: ME/M.Tech in the area of Aerospace Engineering. Desirable Qualification/Experience: Experience in one or more of the following areas: Knowledge in Aerodynamics/ CFD algorithms /CFD code development. Computing experience on large CPU/GPU clusters.

30. Scientist / Gr.IV(2) S-130- Education Qualification: M.E/ M.Tech in the area of Aeronautical/ Aerospace/ Mechanical Eng. Desirable Qualification/Experience: Experience in one or more of the following areas: Experimental Aerodynamics / Experimental Fluid Mechanics. Working knowledge of flow diagnostic techniques, wind tunnel measurements and techniques.

Age Limit:

Maximum Age: 32 years (as of 03.04.2025)

Age relaxation will be provided as per Government of India norms.

Salary Details : Selected candidates will receive a pay scale of Level 11 in the 7th CPC Pay Matrix, which is approximately ₹67,700 – ₹2,08,700/- per month, along with applicable allowances as per CSIR norms.
