Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualifications: Candidates must have completed matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized board or institution.
Sports Achievements: Applicants should have represented their state or country in national or international sports competitions. Alternatively, they should have represented their university in inter-university tournaments or their state school team in national sports/games for schools.
Individual event (International/ National): The sportsperson who have participated or won medal(s) in any International Sports events recognized by International Olympic Association as a member of the Indian Team and players who have won medal(s) in any National Games or Championships recognized by Indian Olympic Association Sports Federation of (concerned Sport), Youth/Junior National Championship held from 03/04/2023 till 02/04/2025
Team event (International/National): In the team event, sportsperson who have won any medal in National Games/National Championships Both (Junior & Senior), recognized by respective Federation/ Association recognized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports or conducted by the Indian Olympic Association during the period of 03/04/2023 to 02/04/2025, while representing State/UT/Sports Control Boards, Sports person should be playing member of the team. Medals won in international competitions, however, are exempt from this requirement.
Age Limit: The age criteria vary depending on the specific post and sports discipline.
Group C (Sports Person) – 18 to 23 Years
Relaxation of Upper age limit:

| For OBC Applicants: 3 years |
Salary: Selected candidates will be placed in the pay scale corresponding to Group C posts, as per the 7th Central Pay Commission. Additional allowances and benefits will be provided as per ITBP norms.
