Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have completed 10th Standard or above from a recognized board.
Additional qualifications related to sports achievements will be given preference.
1. Clerical Grade – Pass in XII Standard examination or equivalent as the case may be
2. Officer JMG Scale I Grade – Pass in XII Standard examination or equivalent as the case may be
Age Limit (as of 01.11.2024): Minimum Age: 18 years, Maximum Age: 26 years. Relaxation in age will be provided as per government norms for reserved categories:
SC/ST: 5 years
OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
Persons with Disabilities (PWD): 10 years
Sports Achievements: Candidates should have represented:
The country in international events, or A state in a national event, or A university in inter-university tournaments, or A school in national games or sports. Proficiency and recognition in their respective sports are mandatory.
Salary and Benefits : Pay Scale: The selected candidates will receive a basic pay starting from ₹23,700 to ₹42,020 (varies based on the cadre level). Additional benefits such as dearness allowance, HRA, and other allowances will be applicable as per IOB rules.
Selection Process : The selection process comprises the following stages:
Scrutiny of Applications: Applications will be screened based on educational qualifications and sports achievements.
Sports Trials: Shortlisted candidates will be called for trials to assess their skill levels and performance in their respective sports.
Interview: Candidates who clear the trials will face an interview round conducted by a selection committee.
Final selection will be based on performance in sports trials and interviews, subject to document verification and medical fitness.
