Vacancy Details: The Indian Navy will recruit candidates for the Agniveer (SSR) 02/2025, 01/2026, and 02/2026 Batches. The total number of vacancies is yet to be disclosed. However, the distribution of posts will be based on requirements across different training batches.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Educational Qualifications: Candidates must have completed 10+2 with subjects including Mathematics and Physics from recognized educational boards with a minimum aggregate of 50%. Alternatively, candidates with a three-year diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Automobiles, Computer Science, Instrumentation Technology, Information Technology) with 50% marks or those who have completed a two-year vocational course with non-vocational subjects like Physics and Mathematics with 50% marks are also eligible. ​

• Age Limit: (a) SSR (MED) 02/2025 Batch : Candidate should be born between 01 Sep 2004–29 Feb 2008 (Both dates inclusive). (b) SSR (MED) 02/2026 Batch : Candidate should be born between 01 Jul 2005–31 Dec 2008 (Both dates inclusive).

• Medical Standards: Applicants must meet the medical and physical standards set by the Indian Navy, ensuring they are in good physical and mental health, free from any condition that may interfere with the efficient performance of duties. ​

Salary: Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of ₹14,600 during the initial training period. Upon successful completion of training, they will be placed in Level 3 of the Defence Pay Matrix (₹21,700 – ₹69,100). Additionally, they will be entitled to various allowances and perks as per naval regulations.

Selection Process: The selection procedure for the SSR (Medical Assistant) posts typically involves multiple stages, including:​
