Indian Navy Recruitment 2025 Agniveer (SSR) Posts : The Indian Navy has officially released the notification for the recruitment of Agniveer (SSR) – 02/2025, 01/2026, and 02/2026 Batch Posts under the Agnipath Scheme. Interested and eligible candidates can submit their applications online through the official Indian Navy website www.joinindiannavy.gov.in from March 29, 2025, to April 10, 2025.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification : Candidates must have passed 10+2 (Intermediate) with Mathematics and Physics along with at least one of these subjects: Chemistry, Biology, or Computer Science from a recognized board.
Age Limit
- Candidates should be born between November 1, 2004, and April 30, 2008 (both dates inclusive).
- (a) Agniveer 02/2025 Batch: Candidate should be born between 01 Sep 2004–29 Feb 2008 (Both dates inclusive).
- (b) Agniveer 01/2026 Batch: Candidate should be born between 01 Feb 2005–31 Jul 2008 (Both dates inclusive).
- (c) Agniveer 02/2026 Batch: Candidate should be born between 01 Jul 2005–31 Dec 2008 (Both dates inclusive).
Marital Status : Only unmarried male and female candidates are eligible to apply.
Salary Structure : Selected candidates will receive the following monthly salary during their tenure under the Agnipath scheme:

- Seva Nidhi Package: Upon completion of four years, candidates will receive Rs. 11.71 lakh as a one-time package.
- Insurance Cover: Agniveers will get a life insurance cover of Rs. 48 lakh for the duration of their service.
Selection Process : The selection process for Indian Navy Agniveer (SSR) 2025 includes the following stages:
Written Examination
- The written exam will be computer-based and will consist of objective-type questions.
- Subjects: English, Science, Mathematics, and General Awareness.
- The exam duration is one hour, and candidates must pass in all sections.
Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
For Male Candidates:

- 1.6 km run in 6 minutes 30 seconds
- 20 squats (Uthak Baithak)
- 12 push-ups
For Female Candidates:
-
- 1.6 km run in 8 minutes
- 15 squats (Uthak Baithak)
- 10 bent knee sit-ups
Medical Examination : Candidates will be assessed based on height, weight, and vision standards as per the Indian Navy’s medical guidelines.
Candidates should not have permanent tattoos except on the inner face of the forearms or the reverse side of the palm/backside of the hand.
