Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Syrang of Lascars: Candidates must have completed Matriculation (10th Pass) or equivalent from a recognized board.
Lascar-l: Candidates must have completed Matriculation (10th Pass) with relevant experience in the field.
Fireman (Boat Crew): Matriculation (10th Pass) with knowledge of firefighting techniques.
Topass: Candidates should have relevant experience as required for the post.
Age Limit (As on 01.04.2025) :
Minimum Age: 18 Years
Maximum Age: 25 Years (Age relaxation applicable as per Government rules.)
Relaxation of Upper age limit:
| For SC/ ST Applicants: 5 years |
| For OBC Applicants: 3 years |
| For PwBD (Gen/ EWS) Applicants: 10 years |
| For PwBD (SC/ ST) Applicants: 15 years |
| For PwBD (OBC) Applicants: 13 years |
| For Ex-Servicemen Applicants: As per Govt. Policy |
Salary Structure : The selected candidates will receive a salary as per the 7th Pay Commission guidelines:
1. Syrang of Lascars – Level – 4 Rs.25500 – 81100/-
2. Lascar-l – Level – 1 Rs.18000 – 56900/-
3. Fireman (Boat Crew) – Level – 1 Rs.18000 – 56900/-
4. Topass – Level – 1 Rs.18000 – 56900/-
Selection Process : The selection process for Indian Navy Group C 2025 consists of the following stages:
Written Examination – Objective-type questions based on General Knowledge, Mathematics, and relevant trade knowledge.
Physical Fitness Test (PFT) – Includes running, push-ups, and endurance tests.
Document Verification – Verification of educational and experience certificates.
Medical Examination – Candidates must pass the medical fitness test conducted by Indian Navy authorities.
