Age Limit For IIIT Trichy Teaching Faculty Recruitment 2022
- The Assistant Professor Grade-II post is purely on contract basis for a fixed period of 5 years.
- Preferable age limit is 35 years for Assistant Professor (Grade II AGP ₹ 6000).
- Age relaxation will be given for SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/PwBD as per the Government of India norms.
Eligible degrees and Specializations: The areas of specializations of various departments are given below. The essential minimum academic qualification for the all the posts must be PhD in respective discipline and shall have First Class in preceding degree. Candidates having Ph.D. degree directly after B.Tech. are also eligible and they should have obtained First Class at Bachelor’s level.
Computer Science and Engineering
Assistant Professor Grade I & II: B.E./B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering or equivalent and M.E./M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering or equivalent along with Ph.D. Degree in Computer Science and Engineering in the subject areas given below.
Professor / Associate Professor: B.E./B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering/Information Technology/ Electrical and Electronics Engineering/Electronics and Communication Engineering and M.E./M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering /Information Technology or its equivalent along with Ph.D. Degree in Computer Science and Engineering in the subject areas given below. Computer Organization and Architecture, Theoretical Computer Science, Compiler Design, Computer Networks, Network Security, Data Analytics, Image processing, and Software Engineering.
Electronics and Communication: Engineering B.E/B.Tech (ECE or equivalent) and M.E/M.Tech (ECE or equivalent) with Ph.D in the following specializations: Fiber Optic Communication, Communication Systems, VLSI Design, Microelectronics, Nano Electronics, Embedded Systems, Signal Processing and Microwave Engineering.
