Eligibility Criteria: Before applying for the IBPS RRB XII Recruitment 2023, candidates must ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria set by the Institute. The eligibility criteria vary for different positions. Here are the details:

Officers Scale-I: Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Proficiency in the local language is also required. Preference will be given to candidates with a degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy.

Officers Scale-II (General Banking Officer): Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks. Two years of experience as an officer in a bank or financial institution is also required.

Officers Scale-II (Specialist Cadre): The educational qualification varies for different specialist positions such as IT Officer, Chartered Accountant, Law Officer, Treasury Manager, Marketing Officer, etc. Candidates should refer to the official notification for detailed eligibility requirements.

Officers Scale-III: Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks. Candidates should also have at least 5 years of experience as an Officer in a bank or financial institution.

Office Assistants (Multipurpose): Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Proficiency in the local language is required. Knowledge of computer skills is desirable.

Age Limit (As on 01.06.2023) :

For Officer Scale- III (Senior Manager)- Above 21 years – Below 40 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 03.06.1983 and later than 31.05.2002 (both dates inclusive)

For Officer Scale- II (Manager)- Above 21 years – Below 32 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 03.06.1991 and later than 31.05.2002 (both dates inclusive)

For Officer Scale- I (Assistant Manager)- Above 18 years – Below 30 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 03.06.1993 and later than 31.05.2005 (both dates inclusive)

For Office Assistant (Multipurpose) – Between 18 years and 28 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 02.06.1995 and later than 01.06.2005 (both dates inclusive)

The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. Candidates Relaxation in Upper Age limit will be provided as per Govt. Rules.

Salary and Pay Scale: The salary and pay scale for the IBPS RRB XII Officers (Scale-I, II & III) and Office Assistants (Multipurpose) will be as per the rules and regulations of the participating banks. It will be in line with the salary structure followed by other banks in the public sector.

Selection Process: The selection process for IBPS RRB XII Recruitment 2023 will involve two stages: Preliminary Examination and Main Examination. Candidates who qualify in both these stages will be called for an interview conducted by the participating banks. The final selection will be based on the candidate’s performance in the Main Examination and interview.
