Eligibility Criteria : Candidates must fulfill the following eligibility criteria to apply for IBPS CRP PO/MT XIV Recruitment 2024:
Nationality: A candidate must be a citizen of India or a subject of Nepal/Bhutan or a Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Age Limit: Minimum age: 20 years, Maximum age: 30 years, Age relaxation is applicable as per government rules (SC/ST: 5 years, OBC: 3 years, PwD: 10 years, etc.).
Educational Qualification: A degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a recognized university or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
Salary : The salary for the post of Probationary Officer (PO) / Management Trainee (MT) in various participating banks is in the range of Rs. 23,700 – Rs. 42,020. The selected candidates will also be eligible for various allowances and benefits as per the banking norms.
Selection Process : The selection process for IBPS CRP PO/MT XIV includes the following stages:
Preliminary Examination
Main Examination & Interview
Preliminary Examination: The preliminary exam is of qualifying nature and consists of objective type questions.
The exam pattern is as follows:
- English Language: 30 questions, 30 marks
- Quantitative Aptitude: 35 questions, 35 marks
- Reasoning Ability: 35 questions, 35 marks
- Duration: 60 minutes
Main Examination: Candidates who qualify in the preliminary exam will be eligible to appear for the main exam.
The main exam consists of objective type questions and a descriptive test. The exam pattern is as follows:
- Reasoning & Computer Aptitude: 45 questions, 60 marks
- General/Economy/Banking Awareness: 40 questions, 40 marks
- English Language: 35 questions, 40 marks
- Data Analysis & Interpretation: 35 questions, 60 marks
- English Language (Letter Writing & Essay): 2 questions, 25 marks
- Duration: 3 hours and 30 minutes
Interview: Candidates who qualify in the main exam will be shortlisted for the interview. The interview will be conducted by the participating organizations and coordinated by the Nodal Bank in each state/UT. The interview will carry 100 marks, and the minimum qualifying marks will be 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates).
Final Merit List: The final merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the main examination and interview.
