Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
| 1. Graduate Apprentice – A degree in engineering or technology granted by a statutory University/ by an institution empowered to award such degrees by an Act of Parliament |
| 2. Graduate Apprentice (General Stream) – A degree granted by a statutory University/ by an institution empowered to award such degrees by an Act of Parliament/ Educational Institutes established by a State Government / by an Institute recognised by the State Government or Central Government. |
| 3. Diploma Apprentice Trainees – (i) A diploma in engineering or technology granted by a State Council or Board of Technical Educational established by a State Government / by a University / by an Institute recognised by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent to a diploma. |
| 4. ITl Apprentice Trainees – A certificate in vocational Course involving two years of Study after the Completion of the secondary stage of School education recognized By the all India Council for Technical education. |
Note: For B.E / B.Tech. / Diploma (Engineering- Apprentice Trainees) & B.Com. / B.Sc. / B.A / BCA / BBA (Non Engineering – Apprentice Trainees); Candidates who have passed in the year 2021 /2022/2023 (last three years) as regular candidates are only eligible to apply. Candidates who have passed the qualifying exam earlier than year 2021 are not eligible.

2. Graduate Apprentice (General Stream) – 18 to 27 Years
3. Diploma Apprentice Trainees – 18 to 27 Years
4. ITl Apprentice Trainees – 18 to 27 Years
Relaxation of Upper age limit:
- For SC/ ST Candidates: 5 years
- For OBC Candidates: 3 years
- For PwBD Candidates: 10 years
Salary: Selected candidates will be entitled to a stipend as per the norms prescribed by DRDO GTRE. The stipend will be commensurate with the apprentice category and as per the rules of the organization.
