Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification : The eligibility criteria vary depending on the specific Group C post. Common qualifications include:

  • Matriculation (10th Pass) or equivalent from a recognized board.
  • ITI Certification in relevant trades for technical positions.
  • 12th Pass with typing proficiency for clerical posts.

Educational Qualification for DGAFMS  Group C: 

1. Accountant A Commerce Degree from an accredited university. Or 12th Class or equivalent qualification from a recog-nized Board or University with two years of experience working in a government office, PSU, autonomous body, or statutory body in the areas of cash, accounts, and budget.
2. Stenographer Grade II –(I) 12th class pass or equivalent from recognized Board/University, (II) Skill Test Norms – The transcription time is listed below, along with the dictation time of 10 minutes and 80 words per minute. (III) Manual Typewriter. 65 (Sixty Five) Minutes for English, 75 (Seventy Five) Minute for Hindi Or (ab) On Computer. 50 (Fifty) minutes for English, 65 (Sixty Five) minutes for Hindi.
3. Lower Division Clerk – (I) 12th class pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board; (II) The ability to type thirty (30) words per minute in English or twenty-five (25) words per minute in Hindi on a manual typewriter; or thirty (30) words per minute in Hindi or English on a computer. If you average five key depressions per word, 35 (thirty-five) words per minute and 30 (thirty) words per minute equal 10500 KDPH / 9000 KDPH.
4. Store Keeper –  (I) 12th class from a recognized Board or University (II) One-year experience in handling Stores and keeping accounts in a Store or a concern of Central or State Government, autonomous or statutory organization, PSUs or University or banks or in a private sector organization listed on the stock exchange(s) of India
5. Photographer – (as) 12th pass or equivalent. (ab) Diploma in Photography.
Desirable Qualification: (aa) Three years experience in photography. (ab) Must be fully conversant with art and technique of photography and knowledge of laboratory processing work.
6. Fireman –(i) Matriculation or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board.
Technical Qualification: (a) Must have undergone training in Fire Fighting under a State fire service or a government recognized institute not less than 30 working days. (b) Knowledge of how to use and maintain various extinguishers, hose fittings, and fire appliances and equipment, such as foam branches, trailer fire pumps, and fire engines, is required.
Desirable Qualification: – (i) Valid license for driving of LMV. (ii) experience working as a firefighter for any government in a regular civil or defense fire brigade. (iii) Have completed and passed the General Fire Fighting Course at any government-approved institution.
7. Cook – (i) Matriculation pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board. (II) Proficiency in the trade.
8. Lab Attendant – (1) Matriculation or equivalent with Science as one of the subject. (II) Preferably should have worked in laboratory or Chemical /Drug factory for one year.
9. MTS – Matriculation (10th) Std Pass from an accredited Board.
10. Tradesman Mate – (I) Matriculation (10th) Std Pass from an accredited Board or Ex-servicemen of appropriate trade. (ii) Apprenticeship or competency in any one of the following trades: Fitter, Welder, Watch Repairer, Blacksmith, Molder, Cutler, Painter, Tinsmith, Tin and Coppersmith, Carpenter and Joiner, and Sawyer.
11. Washerman – (i) Matriculation (10th) Std Pass from an accredited Board. (ii) Proficiency in the trade.
12. Carpenter and Joiner –  (I) Matriculation (10th) Std Pass from an accredited Board.  (II) Certificate in the trade from a recognized industrial training institute or apprenticeship at a reputed establishment/firm; (in) 3 years experience in the trade.
13. Tin Smith – (i) Matriculation (10th) Std Pass from an accredited Board.  (ii) Certificate in the trade from a recognized technical industrial training institute or apprentice-ship at a reputed establishment /firm; (iii) 3 years experience in the trade.

Age Limit: Minimum Age: 18 years, Maximum Age: 25 years (relaxable for reserved categories as per government norms).

Nationality : The applicant must be an Indian citizen.

Salary Details : The selected candidates will receive a salary as per the 7th Pay Commission under the Level 1 to Level 4 pay matrix, depending on the post.

Pay Scale: ₹18,000 to ₹56,900/- per month.

Additional allowances like DA, HRA, and other benefits are applicable as per government rules.
