Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification : Candidates must have passed 10th (Matriculation) or an equivalent qualification from a recognized board. Must hold a valid Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) or Transport Vehicle Driving License.
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 21 years
- Maximum Age: 27 years
- Age relaxation is applicable as per government norms:
SC/ST: 5 years
OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
Physical Standards
Height: 167 cm (relaxable for certain categories as per CISF norms)
Chest: 80 cm (minimum expansion: 5 cm)
Other Requirements : Must meet the prescribed physical efficiency and medical standards. Should have at least 3 years of experience driving heavy vehicles.
Salary Details : The selected candidates will be placed in the Pay Level-3 of the 7th Pay Commission:
1. Constable/Driver – Rs.21,700 – 69,100/- ( Level – 3)
2. Constable/(Driver – Pump – Operator) (i.e. Driver for fire services) – Rs.21,700 – 69,100/- ( Level – 3)
Selection Process : The selection process will include the following stages:
Physical Efficiency Test (PET) / Physical Standard Test (PST) : Candidates must meet physical fitness and measurement standards.
Written Examination : Objective-type questions covering General Awareness, Mathematics, Analytical Aptitude, and Basic Knowledge of English/Hindi.
Driving Test : A practical test to evaluate driving skills for Heavy Motor Vehicles (HMVs).
Medical Examination : Candidates must pass a detailed medical examination to determine fitness for the role.
Document Verification : Verification of educational certificates, driving license, and other necessary documents.
