Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications: Candidates must possess the following qualifications to be eligible for the Technical Assistant posts:

Technical Assistant (TA – 1) – B.Sc./B.Sc.(Hons) in Physics / Electronics / Electronics & Communication / Computer Science / Instrumentation / Applied Electronics / Applied Science / Physical Science / Instrumentation Technology / Data Science / Software Engineering or equivalent, with minimum 60% marks and one year experience in relevant discipline from a recognized Institute / Organization. Or B.Sc./B.Sc.(Hons) in Physics / Electronics / Electronics & Communication / Computer Science / Instrumentation / Applied Electronics / Applied Science / Physical Science / Instrumentation Technology / Data Science / Software Engineering or equivalent, with minimum 60% marks and one year full time professional qualification.

Technical Assistant (TA – 2) – Diploma in Computer/IT Engg./ Tech. of at least 3 years full time duration, with minimum 60% marks and experience of 02 years in Computer/IT Engg./ Tech. Or Diploma in Computer/IT Engg./ Tech. of at least 2 years full time duration in case of lateral admission in Diploma course, with minimum 60% marks and experience of 02 years in Computer/IT Engg./ Tech.

Age Limit: Maximum Age Limit: 28 years as of the closing date of the application.

Age Relaxation: Applicable as per government norms:

• • SC/ST: 5 years
  • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
  • Persons with Disabilities (PwD): 10 years

Salary: The selected candidates for the Technical Assistant posts will be offered the following:

Pay Level: Level-6 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix

Basic Pay: ₹35,400/- per month

Gross Salary: Approximately ₹45,000 – ₹50,000 per month (including allowances such as HRA, DA, etc.)

Selection Process: The selection process for CEERI Technical Assistant Recruitment 2024 will involve:

Written Examination: A computer-based test (CBT) to assess technical knowledge, general aptitude, and reasoning skills. The syllabus will be based on the diploma curriculum relevant to the post.

Skill/Trade Test: A practical test to evaluate the candidate’s hands-on expertise in the respective technical field.

Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates must provide original documents for verification.
