Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must carefully read and understand the eligibility criteria before applying for the recruitment.
Educational Qualification:
- For Technical Assistant: Candidates must possess a Diploma in Engineering/Technology (relevant field) or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
- For Technician (1): Candidates should have completed SSLC/10th Standard or equivalent and have an ITI certificate in a relevant trade from a recognized institution.
Age Limit:
- For Technical Assistant, the upper age limit is 28 years.
- For Technician (1), the upper age limit is 28 years.
Age relaxations will be applicable as per government norms for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates.
Experience: For both positions, relevant experience in the respective field will be preferred but is not mandatory unless specified in the detailed notification.
Salary Details : The candidates selected for the posts will be offered attractive salary packages as per the 7th Pay Commission recommendations.
Technical Assistant: Pay level – Rs. 35,400 – Rs. 1,12,400/- (Level 6)
Technician (1): Pay level – Rs. 19,900 – Rs. 63,200/- (Level 2)
In addition to the basic salary, employees will receive various allowances as per the CECRI rules, including House Rent Allowance (HRA), Dearness Allowance (DA), and other benefits.
Selection Process : The selection process for CECRI Karaikudi Recruitment 2024 consists of the following stages:
Written Test: Candidates will be required to appear for a written examination that tests their knowledge in the relevant subjects and their general aptitude.
Trade/Skill Test: For Technician (1) posts, a Trade Test will be conducted to assess the practical skills of the candidates.
Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will undergo document verification before the final selection.
