Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) – High School from recognized Board (State/Central).

Assistant Grade – III – 10+2/XII or its equivalent from recognized Board Direct Recruitment will be through,  Written competitive examination of 60 marks. Typing speed of 35 w.p.m in English or 30 w.p.m in Hindi typing on computer of 40 marks.

Technician – SSC/10th standard with 50% marks in the aggregate from recognized Board (State/Central) and IT certificate of 2 years duration in relevant trade OR SSLC/HSC/12th in science with 60% marks in aggregate in relevant field.

Technical Assistant (Field) – 1 st class B.Sc (Science)/ 1st class Bachelor of Library science or equivalent. OR 1st class diploma in Engineering/Technology of 3 year’s fulltime duration or its equivalent.

Assistant Director (OL) – Master’s Degree of a recognized university in Hindi/English with English/Hindi as a compulsory elective subject or as medium of examination at degree level. OR Master’s Degree of a recognized university in any subject other than Hindi/English with Hindi/English medium and English /Hindi as a compulsory/elective subject or as medium of examination at degree level. OR Bachelor’s Degree of a recognized university with Hindi and English as compulsory/ elective subjects or either of the two as medium of examination and the other subject as a compulsory elective subject, plus a recognized diploma/ certificate course in translation from Hindi to English and vice a versa in Central/State Government officers including GOI undertakings.

Senior Technical Officer – 1 st class B.Sc (Science)/ 1st class Bachelor of Library science or equivalent with 11 years’ experience in the relevant field. OR 1 st class diploma in Engineering/Technology of 3 years fulltime duration or its equivalent with 12 years’ experience in the relevant field. OR M.Sc or equivalent with minimum of 55% marks; or B.E/B.Tech. or equivalent with 9 years’ experience in the relevant field.

Age Limit (As on 30.06.2023) :

1. Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) – 18 years to 27 Years

2. Assistant Grade – III – 18 years to 27 Years

3. Technician – 18 years to 28 Years

4. Technical Assistant (Field) – 18 years to 28 Years

5. Assistant Director (OL) – 18 years to 27 Years

6. Senior Technical Officer – Not exceeding 40 years

The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. Candidates Relaxation in Upper Age limit will be provided as per Govt. Rules.

However, the processing fee, however they are required to pay only processing fee of Rs. 200/- only through Demand Draft or Pay Order from any nationalized bank drawn in favour of Director, Wildlife Institute of India, Dehradun.
