What is the mains exam pattern for group 1 exam?

The mains exam for recruiting candidates to group 1 posts will be conducted for candidates who qualify the preliminary examination. The candidates will be called out to attend the mains exam.

This mains Examination is of two sections :-

1. Descriptive test

2. Interview & Records

The first section descriptive test is a pen and paper test, students should give their answers written in descriptive manner for the questions asked in the paper. It is held for 3 hours duration and for 750 marks.

The second section is the interview and records portion. This will be held for 100 marks .

Mains exam – 750 Marks

Interview – 100 Marks
