What is department test conducted by TNPSC?

TNPSC , the constitutional body running for the recruitment of Candidates into government of tamilnadu ,not only conducts exams for the candidates who are unemployed seeking for job but also for the officials working for the government. This is called department test in TNPSC.

This test can be applied and written only by the members of government. Each department test will be conducted as per need , at the time the people working in the respected department can apply and move to a higher position through this.

The tamil proficiency test ,for candidates who have not studied tamil as subject but cleared the exam and working in department also comes under the departmental tests.
