Vacancies:

• Assistant Editor (Oriya), Assistant Director (Cost), Economic Officer, Administrative Officer, Mechanical Marine Engineer, Lecturer( Occupational Therapy), Scientist ‘B’ (Documents), Chemist, Junior Mining Geologist, Research Officer & Assistant Professor ( Ayurveda) : 78 Posts

Educational Qualification :

1. Assistant Editor (Oriya), Central Reference Library, Ministry of Culture :

• Degree of a recognized university;

• Degree or Diploma in Librarianship or equivalent qualifications of a recognized University or institution. 

EXPERIENCE:

 (i) About five years’ practical experience in a responsible capacity in a Library of standing;

(ii) Proficiency in Oriya Language.

2. Assistant Director (Cost), Office of Chief Adviser Cost, Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance :

• A qualification recognized for enrolment in the Register of Members of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India.

Clarification:

• Candidates are eligible for enrolment in the register of Member of the respective Institute after they have passed the Final examination of Chartered Accountancy or of Cost Accountancy conducted by the respective Institute.

Desirable:

(i) Degree from a recognized University.

(ii) Three years’ experience in Cost Accounting work.

3. Economic Officer, Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance :

• Master’s Degree in Economics or Applied Economics or Business Economics or Econometrics of a recognized University, incorporated by an act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other Educational Institutes established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as University under Section 3 of the University Grant Commission Act, 1956 or a foreign University approved by the Central Government from time to time.

Experience:

• Two years’ experience of conducting economic investigation or research from recognized Research Institutes in India, University or Deemed University and Central or State Government.

4. Administrative Officer, Central Institute of Coastal Engineering for Fishery, Department of Fisheries, Ministry of Fisheries ,Animal Husbandry and Dairying :

• Degree from a recognized university.

Experience:

• Two years’ experience of Administration, Accounts and Establishment work in Government office or in a public body.

5. Mechanical Marine Engineer, Central Institute of Fisheries Nautical and Engineering Training (CIFNET) Kochi, Department of Fisheries, Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying :

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Marine Engineering or Automobile Engineering from a recognized University or institution with Five years experience in operation, maintenance, troubleshooting of marine diesel engines, auxiliaries, ship board marine mechanical equipments. OR

• Marine Engineering Officer ClassII (Motor) Certificate of Competency issued by the Ministry of Shipping, Mercantile Marine Department and a Bachelor degree from a recognized University with either One year experience as Marine Engineer Officer Class-I or Three years experience as Marine Engineer Officer Class-II or Five years experience as Marine Engineer Officer Class III of an ocean going ship.

Desirable:

• Two years experience as Instructor or Lecturer of Mechanical Engineering or Marine Engineering or Automobile Engineering in a recognized training institute or engineering college or polytechnic.

6. Lecturer (Occupational Therapy), All India Institute of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation(AIIPMR), Mumbai, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare :

• Masters’ Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized University.

Experience:

• Two years’ Teaching experience in Occupational Therapy from an institute recognized by the Central or State Government or an autonomous body under the Central or State Government or a University recognized by the University Grant Commission or an institute recognized by the Regulatory Council; OR

• Two years’ experience in Occupational Therapy/ Rehabilitation, Planning, Implementation of research projects in Institute or Community level from an institute recognized by the Central or State Government or an autonomous body under the Central or State Government or a University recognized by the University Grant Commission or an institute recognized by the Regulatory Council.

7. Scientist ‘B’(Documents) in Central Forensic Science Laboratory, Directorate of Forensic Science Services, Ministry of Home Affairs :

• Master’s Degree in Chemistry / AIC by examination / Physics / Forensic Science with Chemistry or Physics as one of the subjects at Bachelor of Science level from a recognized University.

 Experience:

• Three years experience of analytical methods and research therein in the field of Documents Examination in any Central Government or State Government organization or recognized research institute or Forensic Science Laboratory under the Central or State Government.

DESIRABLE:

• Experience of working in a Forensic Science Laboratory.

8. Chemist, Indian Bureau of Mines, Ministry of Mines :

• Master’s degree in Chemistry from a recognized University or Institution.

Experience:

• Three years’ experience in chemical analysis of ores and minerals from a laboratory recognized as a Research Laboratory by Council of Scientific and Industrial Research or Department of Science and Technology or any other such Government organization carrying out chemical analysis of ores and minerals.

Desirable:

• Doctorate in Chemistry from a recognized University or Institution.

9. Junior Mining Geologist, Indian Bureau of Mines, Ministry of Mines :

• Master’s Degree in applied Geology or Geology from a recognized University or Institute.

Experience:

• Three years experience in carrying out geological appraisals of minerals or ore deposits or research/teaching experience in the field of Geology or Applied Geology in a recognised Institution.

Desirable:

• Experience in Geographical Information System and remote sensing application.

10. Research Officer, Ministry of Tribal Affairs :

• Master’s Degree in Sociology or Mathematics or Social work or Anthropology or Economics or Statistics or Geography from a recognised University or Institute.

Experience:

• Three years’ experience, out of which two years should be in Research or Training or Planning in the field of Economic Development or Social Services or Welfare of Scheduled Tribes or in implementation of social sectoral programmes or Tribal Development Programmes and one year should be in statistical data collection analysis.

Desirable:

• One year experience of writing or editing articles on matters related to Tribal Development, Tribal Welfare, Customary Tribal Laws, etc. in leading National Dailies or Journal as evidenced through copies of published work.

11. Assistant Professor (Ayurveda, Bal Roga (Kaumarbhritya), Directorate of AYUSH, Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of NCT of Delhi :

• Degree in Ayurveda Medicine from a University established by law or statutory board/faculty/examining body of Indian Medicine or equivalent as recognized under Indian Medicine Central Council Act 1970.

• A Post Graduate Degree in the subject/specialty concerned included in the schedule of Indian Medicine Central Council Act 1970. Note: In case of non availability of post-graduate degree holder teachers in required specialty of Ayurveda, the Doctor of Medicine in the allied disciplines will be considered.

The allied subject is as follows: Prasuti evam Stri Roga or Kayachikitsa.

Desirable:

• Reading, Writing and Speaking knowledge of Sanskrit.

12. Assistant Professor (Ayurveda, Kaya Chikitsa), Directorate of AYUSH, Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of NCT of Delhi :

• Degree in Ayurveda Medicine from a University established by law or statutory board/faculty/examining body of Indian Medicine or equivalent as recognized under Indian Medicine Central Council Act 1970.

• A Post Graduate Degree in the subject/specialty concerned included in the schedule of Indian Medicine Central Council Act 1970.

Note:

• In case of non availability of post-graduate degree holder teachers in required specialty of Ayurveda, the Doctor of Medicine in the allied disciplines will be considered. The allied subject is as follows: Manasroga.

Desirable:

• Reading, Writing and Speaking knowledge of Sanskrit.

13. Assistant Professor (Ayurveda, Kriya Sharir), Directorate of AYUSH, Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of NCT of Delhi :

• Degree in Ayurveda Medicine from a University established by law or statutory board/faculty/examining body of Indian Medicine or equivalent as recognized under Indian Medicine Central Council Act 1970.

• A Post Graduate Degree in the subject/specialty concerned included in the schedule of Indian Medicine Central Council Act 1970. Note: In case of non availability of post-graduate degree holder teachers in required speciality of Ayurveda, the Doctor of Medicine in the allied disciplines will be considered.

The allied subject is as follows: Ayurveda Samhita evum Siddhant/ Kayachikitsa.

Desirable:

• Reading, Writing and Speaking knowledge of Sanskrit.
