Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test ( PGECET ) is Telangana State Level Admissions into Regular PG Courses in Engineering, Technology, Architecture and Pharmacy (ME / M.Tech / M.Pharmacy / M.Arch) Courses for the academic year 2016-2017 conducted by University College of Engineering, OSMANIA University on behalf of Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE), a statutory body of the Government of Telangana, Hyderabad.

Osmania is a non-profit university which is funded and managed by the government. Admissions into the Bachelor of Engineering, Masters and Doctoral programs in main campus is on a merit basis, evaluated by national entrance examinations (EAMCET, GATE, BCFSBTGMES-N&D, APLAWCET, O.U. Ph.D Entrance Exam etc.) for each of the courses offered.

Aspirants who are interested had accepted the invitation made by TS PGECET 2016 starts on 14th March 2016 and ends on 23rd March 2016. After successful completion of Online Application, Candidates are allowed to download their Hall Ticket from Official Website which is available @ http://tspgecet.org/halltickets.aspx till 3rd June 2016. All PG programmes of Part-Time/SSS/Sponsored courses shall not come under the purview of this Test.

Preference will be given to GATE qualified candidates in admissions to various PG professional programmes. After exhausting GATE qualified candidates, the remaining vacant seats will be filled with those candidates who have secured ranks in the TS PGECET-2016 as per Merit Order. TS PGECET ANSWER KEY & CUT OFF MARKS 2016:

As the Entrance Exam started according to the Scheduled Date and Session at Regional Centre at Hyderabad and Warangal. Contenders will be more effectively searching for all set ( A,B,C&D) of Answer Keys will be updated soon. The detailed Examination Schedule is given below.

TSPGECET-2016 examinations consist of 120 questions in each paper of 2 hours duration and carry a maximum of 120 marks whereas it carries 1mark for each Question. No negative marks will be awarded for incorrect answer. All the question papers of TSPGECET-2016 will be of OBJECTIVE type with multiple choice questions in all set of Question Paper. The Entrance test will be conducted in Offline mode i.e Paper Based Test (OMR). The cut-off mark in the Common Entrance Test is 25% (i.e. 30 marks) , in case of SC/ST there is no minimum marks.

Candidates who had written the exam are searching for the answer key so that they can analyse the marks and predict the results. Osmania University not yet released TS PGECET Answer Key 2016.
