The Telangana EAMCET for medicine was held on 9th July 2016. This is a state level entrance exam for medical field as well as engineering. All state conducted the exam successfully, in that same way the telangana also conducted the exam successfully across 14 centres which include 4 centres in AP. Know about TS EAMCET
The Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance (TS EAMCET) 2016 is being conducted by JNT University Hyderabad (JNTUH) on behalf of Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE). This examination is the prerequisite for admission into various professional courses offered in University or Private Colleges in the state of Telangana.
Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH) situated in the heart of Telangana state’s capital city, Hyderabad at Kukatpally is a major landmark, has an environment of Academic Excellence. Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has delegated the task to JNTUH for conducting the most prestigious entrance examination of Telangana – Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) for this year 2016. This is the 22nd time and 19th consecutive time that JNTUH has been assigned this enormous task.
It is indeed a proud fact that after the formation of the 29th state in India i.e., TELANGANA, TSCHE has instilled confidence and faith in JNTUH for the smooth conduct of this test. Hence, this is the 2nd consecutive time in the newly formed Telangana state, JNTUH is conducting this humongous task of TS EAMCET 2016. As a premier Technological University of the undivided A.P. State and the newly formed state of Telangana, in the past JNTUH has successfully executed EAMCET and stood high and strong through the ages of competition and technology for around 20 years. TS EAMCET Results
Here we have good news and we heartily congrats all candidates who got selected in TS EAMCET. As per statistics, the total number of registered candidates is 56,153 and from this, 50,964 candidates have appeared in Telangana state. Likewise, Out of 20,648 registered candidates only 19356 candidates have appeared for the examination in Hyderabad zone alone. The total percentage of attendance is 90.7%. The merit on the basis of combined score obtained by giving 75% weightage to the marks secured in TS EAMCET-II-2016 and 25% weightage to the marks secured in the relevant group subjects namely Biology, Physics, Chemistry of the qualifying examination.
To calculate EAMCET Weightage, for example: If the candidates score 70 Marks out of 160 means it can be calculated as 70/160 *25 = 32.81
The TS EAMCET results was declared on 13th July 2016 at 5 pm.
