Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification: Candidates applying for the Assistant Public Prosecutor, Grade-II post must fulfill the following educational qualifications:
Essential Qualification: Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a recognized university. Should be eligible to be an advocate, having had practice for not less than five years as an advocate. Experience in criminal cases and work in the legal field is desirable.
Age Limit(As on 01.07.2024):
General Candidates: Minimum of 18 years and maximum of 34 years as of 01.07.2024.
Relaxation in Age: Age relaxation is applicable for candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC, PwD, and other reserved categories, as per TNPSC norms.
Nationality: Candidates must be citizens of India. Candidates from Tamil Nadu will be given preference.
Salary Details: The pay scale for the Assistant Public Prosecutor, Grade-II post is highly competitive and rewarding:
Pay Scale: Rs. 56,100/- to Rs. 1,77,500/- (Level 22)
