TNPSC Group 1 Updated Mains Examination Syllabus 2023: Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) conducts the Group 1 examination, which is one of the most prestigious competitive exams in Tamil Nadu. Every year the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) conducts the Combined Civil Services Examination Group I (Group 1 Services) to recruit candidates for various posts of Civil Services in Tamil Nadu. TNPSC Group 1 Exam Pattern 2023
The TNPSC Group 1 Exam consists of 3 phases: Prelims, Mains, and Interviews. The TNPSC Group 1 will have two written exams- Prelims and Mains. Check the minimum qualifying for each paper from the below table.

TNPSC Group 1 Preliminary Exam Pattern 2023
- TNPSC Group 1 Prelims Exam consists of one paper carrying 200 objective-type questions for 1.5 mark each.
- The duration of the prelims exam is 3 hours.
- There would be no negative marking for incorrect answer.
- TNPSC Group 1 Prelims is of qualifying in nature and marks will not be included in the merit list.
- The language of the Preliminary Exam will be English and Tamil.
