குரூப்- 1 தேர்வுக்கான இறுதி முடிவுகள் முதன்முறையாக, இப்போதுதான், ஓராண்டிற்குள் தமிழ்நாடு அரசுப் பணியாளர் தேர்வாணையம் வெளியிட்டுள்ளது என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது. 181 காலி பணியிடங்களுக்கான, முதல்நிலை தேர்வு கடந்த மார்ச் மாதம் 3ம் தேதி நடைபெற்றது. விண்ணப்பித்தவர்களில் ஒரு லட்சத்து 67 ஆயிரத்து 490 பேர் அந்த தேர்வை எழுதினார்கள்.
தேர்வு முடிவு கடந்த ஏப்ரல் மாதம் 3ம் தேதி வெளியானது. இதையடுத்து குரூப்-1 முதன்மை தேர்வு ஜூலை மாதம், தொடங்கியது. சப் கலெக்டர்- 27, துணை போலீஸ் சூப்பிரண்டு- 90, வணிகவரி உதவி கமிஷனர்- 18, கூட்டுறவு சங்கங்களின் துணை பதிவாளர்- 13, மாவட்ட பதிவாளர் – 7, கிராம மேம்பாடு உதவி இயக்குனர்- 15, மாவட்ட வேலைவாய்ப்பு அலுவலர்- 8, தீயணைப்பு மற்றும் மீட்புத்துறை மாவட்ட அலுவலர்- 3 ஆகிய 181 குரூப்-1 காலி பணியிடங்களை நிரப்புவதற்கான தேர்வு இது.
தமிழகம் முழுக்க மொத்தம் 95 இடங்களில் இந்த தேர்வு நடைபெற்றது. தேர்வை 9 ஆயிரத்து 441 பேர் எழுதினர்.
