பாட்மின்டன் விளையாட்டில் இந்தியாவின் நிதேஷ் குமார் தங்கப்பதக்கம் வென்றுள்ளார். பாட்மின்டனில் தமிழ்நாட்டு வீராங்கனைகளான துளசிமதி முருகேசனுக்கு வெள்ளிப்பதக்கமும், மனீஷா ராமதாஸுக்கு வெண்கலப்பதக்கமும் கிடைத்தன. மகளிருக்கான 200 மீ ஓட்டத்தில் பிரீத்தி பால் வெண்கலப்பதக்கம் பெற்றார். பிரீத்தி பால், பாராலிம்பிக் வரலாற்றில் ஒரே போட்டியில் இருபதக்கங்கள் வென்ற 2ஆவது இந்திய வீராங்கனை என்ற பெருமையைப் பெற்றுள்ளார். அவர் ஏற்கெனவே 100 மீட்டரிலும் வெண்கலப்பதக்கம் வென்றது நினைவுகூரத்தக்கது.
