• Principal, ITI/ AD of Training – A degree in any branch of Engineering or Technology of any recognised University or institution under the purview of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE)
  AND Practical experience in a workshop or factory for a period of not less than three years.
  Note: 1. A factory or workshop shall mean a factory as defined in Section 2(m) of the Factories Act, 1948 (Central Act 63 of 1948)
  2. Other things being equal, preference will be given to persons who have completed one year Apprenticeship under the Government of India Scheme or one year training under the State Government Apprenticeship scheme.
• Assistant Engineer (Civil) (Water Resources Department) (PWD) – Must possess a B.E degree in Civil Engineering or Civil and Structural Engineering. (or) Must have passed in Sections A and B of the Institution Examinations under Civil Engineering branch.

• No maximum age limit shall mean that the applicants should not have completed 60 years of age either on the date of notification or at the time of selection /appointment to the post.

Relaxation in Age Limit For TNPSC Recruitment 2023

• For Persons with Benchmark Disability(Others): Persons with Benchmark Disability are eligible for age concession up to 10 years over and above the maximum age limit prescribed above.

Selection will be made in two successive stages Examination (Computer Based Test Method) and Oral Test in the shape of an interview. The final selection will be made on the basis of the total marks obtained by the applicants at the CBT examination and oral test taken together subject to the rule of reservation of appointments. Applicants’ appearance in the CBT examination and oral test is compulsory. • As per the orders issued in G.O.(Ms) No.49, Human Resources Management (M) Department, dated 23.05.2022, the differently abled candidates can avail exemption from writing Part-A in Paper-II (Objective Type) (Tamil Eligibility Test).
