Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible for the TNJFU Recruitment 2023 for the JRF Post, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Educational Qualification:
Junior Research Fellow (JRF) – Project no. 1, M.F.Sc / M.Sc. (Marine Biology / Zoology / Life Science).
Desirable qualities / experience: Hands on experience in collection and identification of fish specimens in the fish landing centres; investigating the reproductive characteristics of fishes and assessing the fish stock.
Junior Research Fellow (JRF) – Project no. 2, M.F.Sc / M.Sc. (Marine Biology / Zoology / Life Science)
Desirable qualities / experience: Hands on experience in collection and identification of fish specimens in the fish landing centres.
Age Limit: The upper age limit for the JRF post is 35 years (relaxable for SC/ST/OBC and women candidates as per government rules).
Salary: The selected candidate for the Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position will be entitled to a monthly fellowship as per the norms of the funding agency or TNJFU. The details regarding the salary will be communicated to the selected candidate upon their selection.
