Eligibility Criteria

For Engineer (Mining) Post: Candidates should have completed Full-time regular Bachelor’s Degree in Mining Engineering from a recognized University or Institute with minimum 60% marks. Full-Time Degree in Mining Engineering (B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc-4 years) from recognized University/ Institute. Valid First-Class Manager’s Certificate from DGMS.

Experience: Post Qualification Experience of 1 year in Executive/Officer Cadre in field of Coal Mining

For Geologist Post: Candidates should have completed Full-time regular Master’s Degree in Geology/Applied Geology from a recognized University or Institute with minimum 60% marks. Full Time M.Tech/ M.Sc in Applied Geology or equivalent preferably with specialization in Engineering Geology from recognized Indian university or Institute recognized by appropriate statutory authority in India with not less than 60% marks.

Experience: Post Qualification Experience of 1 year in Executive/Officer Cadre in field of Geology in Hydro Projects and Coal Mines.

Age Limit: The maximum age limit for both Engineer (Mining) and Geologist posts is 32 years As on 22.02.2023. Age relaxation is applicable as per government rules.

Salary: The selected candidates will be paid a consolidated monthly salary of

Engineer (Mining) – Rs. 46584/-

Geologist – Rs. 46584/-

Selection Process: The selection of candidate will be on the basis of experience in the respective field and performance in the interview. Candidates will be shortlisted as per the ratio of 1:5. Personal Interview will be conducted for all eligible candidates. However, if the number of eligible applicants to the number of vacancies for the post is in excess of the ratio 1:5, the number of candidates will be restricted for Personal Interview on the basis of academic record and experience.
