Eligibility Criteria:

For Teaching Posts (Assistant Professor): Candidates should hold a Master’s degree in the relevant field (such as Textile Management, Textile Technology, or related disciplines) with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent. NET/SET/SLET qualifications or a Ph.D. in a relevant field may be required, depending on specific position guidelines.

For Non-Teaching Posts: Requirements vary based on the role. For administrative or clerical roles, a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is typically required. Candidates with higher qualifications, relevant certifications, and experience in administrative or supporting roles in educational institutions are preferred.

Age Limit: The age limit will vary based on the specific post requirements and will be as per government norms. Age relaxation may be applicable for candidates from reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC) as per central government guidelines.

Educational Qualification:

1. Assistant professor – Business Analytics – M.E / MCA / M.Sc. / MBA with expertise knowledge in artificial intelligence, computer applications, cloud computing, programming (R / Python), big data and machine learning.

2. Administrative Officer – Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University/Institute.with 55% marks. PG in any discipline from will be preferred. Relevant experience with minimum Five years will be preferred.

3. Assistant Level 2 (Academic / CoE / Administrative) – Any Bachelor’s degree from recognized University / Institution with two years’ experience in academic administrative work / controller of examination / academic work. Experience: Proficiency in Computer Operations. Good communication skill. Minimum speed of 40 (Forty) wpm in typing.

4. Junior Engineer – Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering from recognized University or Institute Experience: Two years’ experience in Civil constructions and maintenance work of major projects. OR Diploma in Civil Engineering from recognized University or Institute Experience: Four years’ experience in Civil constructions and maintenance work of major projects.

5. Electrical Supervisor – Bachelor Degree in electrical Engineering from recognized University or Institute. Experience: Two years’ experience in Civil constructions, maintenance and similar kind of work OR Diploma in Electrical Engineering from recognized University or Institute with four years’ experience OR ITI trade civil engineer with five years’ experience in Civil constructions, plumber, maintenance and similar kind of work. Must possess electrical supervisory certificate of competency. Must have minimum practical experience of three years’ in maintenance of different types of electrical appliances and installations including UG cable systems.

6. Assistant Warden (Women) – Graduate from a recognized University/Institution Experience : Five year experience as Assistant Warden in an educational institution.

Salary Details: The pay scale for Teaching and Non-Teaching posts at SVPISTM Coimbatore varies based on position and qualifications:

• Teaching Posts (Assistant Professors): As per 7th CPC guidelines, with a likely pay scale in the range of ₹57,700 to ₹1,82,400 per month.
