Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification: (As on 31.12.2024)
Court Master (Shorthand) – Bachelor Degree in Law. Proficiency in Shorthand (English) with a speed of 120 (One Hundred Twenty) ( w.p.m. 3) Knowledge of Computer Operation with a typing speed of 40 (forty) w.p.m.
Experience:- Minimum Five years’ regular service in the cadre of Senior Personal Assistant / Personal Assistant / Private Secretary/ Senior Stenographer in Government/Public Sectors /Statutory bodies.
Senior Personal Assistant – Degree of a recognized University. Proficiency in Shorthand (English) with a speed of 110 (One Hundred Ten) w.p.m. Knowledge of Computer Operation with a typing speed of 40 (forty) w.p.m.
Personal Assistant – Degree of a recognized University. Proficiency in Shorthand (English) with a speed of 100 w.p.m. Knowledge of Computer Operation with a typing speed of 40 (forty) w.p.m.
Age Limit (as on 01.12.2024) : Minimum: 18 years, Maximum: 32 years, Relaxation in age limit is applicable as per government norms for SC/ST/OBC/PwD/Ex-servicemen categories.
Salary Structure
- Court Master (Shorthand): Level 10 of the Pay Matrix (₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500).
- Senior Personal Assistant: Level 8 of the Pay Matrix (₹47,600 – ₹1,51,100).
- Personal Assistant: Level 7 of the Pay Matrix (₹44,900 – ₹1,42,400).
Additional allowances as per the rules of the Supreme Court of India.
Selection Process: The selection process for the Supreme Court of India Recruitment 2024 consists of the following stages:
Written Test: Objective-type questions covering English Language, General Aptitude, General Knowledge, and Reasoning Ability.
Skill Test: English Shorthand dictation test followed by transcription on a computer. Typing test for Senior Personal Assistant and Personal Assistant posts.
Interview: Shortlisted candidates from the Skill Test will be called for a personal interview.
Document Verification: Final verification of certificates and credentials.
