Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification (As on 01/04/2023)
Deputy Manager (Security) : Graduate (any discipline) from Government recognized University or Institution.
Post-Qualification Experience (As on 01/04/2023): An Officer not below the Rank of Captain in Indian Army or equivalent Rank in Indian Navy / Air force with minimum 5 years of commissioned Service. OR An Officer not below the Rank of Assistant Superintendent / Deputy Superintendent / Assistant Commandant / Deputy Commandant of Indian Police / Para-military forces with minimum 5 years of service as an officer in such force.
Manager (Security): An Officer not below the Rank of Major in Indian Army or equivalent Rank in Indian Navy / Air force with minimum 10 years of commissioned Service. OR An Officer not below the Rank of Deputy Superintendent / Deputy Commandant of Indian Police / Para-military forces with minimum 10 years of service as an Officer in such force.
Age Limit (As on 01.04.2023) : Minimum: 25 Years Maximum: 40 Years. The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. Candidates Relaxation in Upper Age limit will be provided as per Govt. Rules.
Salary: The selected candidates will be entitled to a competitive salary package of Rs. 48170-1740/1-49910-1990/10-69810/- as per the rules and regulations of the State Bank of India.
Selection Process: The selection process for the SBI Deputy Manager (Security) / Manager (Security) recruitment will consist of:
Shortlisting: Based on the applications received, candidates will be shortlisted for the next stage.
Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. The final selection will be based on the candidate’s performance in the interview.
Mere fulfilling minimum qualification and experience will not vest any right in candidate for being called for interview. The shortlisting committee constituted by the Bank will decide the shortlisting parameters and thereafter, adequate number of candidates, as decided by the Bank, will be shortlisted for interview. The decision of the Bank to call the candidates for the interview shall be final. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard. The shortlisted candidates will be called for interview. Interview will carry 100 marks. The qualifying marks in interview will be decided by the Bank. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard. Merit list for selection will be prepared in descending order on the basis of scores obtained in interview only. In case more than one candidate scores the cut-off marks (common marks at cut-off point), such candidates will be ranked according to their age in descending order, in the merit list.
