• Trainee (Electrical/ Civil/ Electronics) : 27 years as on 31.12.2022 (Candidates should have been born on or after 01.01.1996 and on or before 31.12.2004).
• The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. Candidates Relaxation in Upper Age limit will be provided as per Govt. Rules

• The selection process for PGCIL Diploma Trainee Recruitment 2022 comprises of written test. The written test will consist of two parts viz. Part I and Part II.
• Part-I will consist of a Technical Knowledge Test/Professional Knowledge Test (TKT/PKT) with 120 MCQ-based questions from the concerned discipline.
• Part II consists of 50 questions from the General Aptitude section including quantitative aptitude, general intelligence or reasoning ability, data sufficiency & interpretation, numerical ability, etc.
• One mark will be awarded for every correct answer while 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.
• The time duration of the written test will be Two hours.
