NMAT at a glance
NMAT is expanded as National Management Aptitude Test. It is an entrance test conducted by the Narsee Manjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) for the process of admission in to various MBA programmes. NMIMS is a global non-profit organization which is comprised for the process of leading graduate business schools all over the world. The council operates with a belief that graduation and management education is has its own value in the individuals and society. Every year hundreds of graduates appear in this NMAT exam for getting their admission in the NMIMS institute for their admission in to groups of MBA, MBA-HR, and MBA-Pharmaceutical Management. Guidelines for NMAT Registration
Those candidates who wish to appear for this NMAT Exam 2016 must understand the instructions that are necessary for applying. Here in this article we have given you all the instructions about the application process for the NMAT 2016. All candidates should take time in understanding the guidelines first before they apply.
Photograph Guideline: The first guidelines for the application form are photograph. Here we have given the instructions regarding the photograph guidelines.
- The photograph that the candidate is using for their application should be in JPEG format.
- The photograph should be around 200 pixels height and 150 pixels wide.
- The size of the photograph should not exceed 500kb.
- The applicant must have taken should be either in white background or light colored.
- While taking the photograph the applicant’s eye should be clearly visible and they should have kept their eye open in the photograph.
- The face of the applicant should be visible and the face should be forward view.
- The photograph that the applicants applying should not be taken before 6 months.
NMAT Eligibility Criteria
NMAT exam possess certain eligibility criteria. Those eligibility criteria are discussed in the below for the benefit of the applicants.
- Applicant must have 10th, +2, +3 degree in any branch of study or any of its equivalent pattern that is been recognized under the UGC and AIU.
- The expected minimum pass criteria of mark are 50% at the degree level of the applicant.
- Those candidates who are appearing for the final exam can also apply for this exam.
- Applicants who are in their final examination can apply for this exam by producing Certificate of Appearance by the month of June and final certificate in the month of December.
NMAT Application procedure
For those candidates who feel that they are eligible for this exam can apply from the application form that is been issues by the University Office between 10.00 am and 6.00 p.m. candidates can also apply for this through online by following some simple steps.
- They must visit the official website by entering web address www.nmat.org.in.
- There they will find a link as NMAT 2016. By clicking the lick details, guidelines and instructions regarding the exam will be displayed.
- After reading the instruction carefully candidates can click on Apply Online link.
- By doing so the application form will be displayed on screen. Applicant can fill the information correctly and neatly and attach the documents that are asked for the application process.
- Make the registration for application fees and click on submit button. Application gets submitted online to the authority board.
- Applicants can also take a print out copy of the application for future purpose.
NMAT Exam Pattern
For appearing for the exam applicants must know the exam pattern. By knowing the exam pattern applicants can start their exam preparation. The NMAT test will be conducted for 200 questions and the time allocation is 2 and half an hour. And there is negative mark of ¼ for one wrong answer.
