NLC is a Navratna company under the Ministry of Coal, Government of India, and it has been a significant contributor to the energy sector. Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria before applying for the posts:
Educational Qualification:
- Graduate Apprenticeship Training – B.Pharm /B.Com. /B.Sc.(Comp.Sci.) /B.C.A /B.B.A. /B.Sc.(Geology) /B.Sc.(Chemistry)
- Technician Apprenticeship Training – D.Pharm, Diploma in Medical lab technology, Diploma in X Ray Technician, Diploma in Catering Technology & Hotel Management
- Applicants should have passed the qualifying exam in 2020 / 2021 / 2022 / 2023 / 2024.
Age Limit : The candidate’s age should be as per the apprenticeship rules. Age relaxation is applicable as per Government of India norms for SC, ST, OBC (NCL), and PwD candidates.
Salary Details (Stipend) : Selected candidates will receive a stipend as per the Apprenticeship Act, and it will be based on the level of apprenticeship training:
- B.Pharm – Rs.15,028/- per month (of which Rs 4500/- will Be paid by the Government under DBT scheme)
- B.Com. /B.Sc.(Comp.Sci.) /B.C.A /B.B.A. /B.Sc.(Geology) /B.Sc.(Chemistry) – Rs.12,524/- per month (of which Rs 4500/- will Be paid by the Government under DBT scheme)
- D.Pharm, Diploma in Medical lab technology, Diploma in X Ray Technician, Diploma in Catering Technology & Hotel Management – Rs.12,524/- per month (of which Rs 4000/- and will be paid by the Government under DBT scheme)
Selection Process : The selection process for the NLC Apprentice 2024 recruitment will be based on the following:
Merit List: Candidates will be selected based on the percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying examination (i.e., the Diploma or Degree examination in Engineering/Technology). There will be no written examination or interview. The merit list will be prepared based on academic qualifications, and candidates will be shortlisted accordingly.
Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification to validate their educational certificates and other relevant documents. Only candidates who qualify in document verification will be considered for the apprenticeship training.
