The National Institute of Plant Health Management ( NIPHM) is recruiting eligible candidates for the position of Senior Consultant (PHM), Junior Research Fellow (PHEICT), Senior Research Fellow (PBDVPM), Senior Research Fellow (PMD) (MPRNL Project) Posts. Age limit:
•Senior Consultant (PHM) – 65 years (Engagement beyond 65 years and upto 70 years could be with approval of Director General, NIPHM keeping in view his/her good health appropriate for the work and level of expertise in rare cases)
• Junior Research Fellow (PHEICT) – 30 years for men & 35 Years for women.
• Senior Research Fellow (PBDVPM) – 35 years for Men & 40 years for Women
• Senior Research Fellow (PMD) (MPRNL Project) – 35 years for Men & 40 years
Educational Qualification :
1.Senior Consultant (PHM) :
• A First or High Second Class (above 57%) Masters Degree in Entomology / Plant Pathology or in Agriculture / Botany / Zoology with specialization in Entomology or Plant Pathology or Weed Science or Nematology or Vertebrate Pest Management. Preference for candidates with exposure to Agricultural Entomology / Plant Pathology.
• Ph.D in relevant subject.
• Preference will be given to candidates of Agriculture Entomology and Plant Pathology
• Officers/employees of Central and State Governments/PSUs/Autonomous bodies having considerable experience of functioning of Central Government Ministries/Departments. The consultant should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong flair for depth handling work relating to Internal Finance as well.
Relevant subjects:
• Entomology / Plant Pathology or in Agriculture / Botany / Zoology with specialization in Entomology or Plant Pathology or Weed Science or Nematology or Vertebrate Pest Management.
2. Junior Research Fellow (PHEICT) :
• M.Tech (Comp.) / M.Sc (Comp.) / MCA / B. Tech (Comp) / B.Sc. (Comp) / BCA or equivalent.
• Technical Competency in Adobe Photoshop, Corel Draw, InDesign, Illustrator with audio and video editing using Corel Draw etc.
3. Senior Research Fellow (PBDVPM) :
• Master’s degree in relevant subject with 4 yrs. Of bachelor degree (OR)
• Candidates having Post Graduate Degree in Basic Sciences with relevant subject with 3 years Bachelor’s Degree and 2 Years Master’s Degree should have NET qualification
Relevant subjects:
• Zoology with Entomology/ Agriculture with Entomology/ Horticulture with Entomology/Wildlife Biology / Equivalent
4.Senior Research Fellow (PMD) (MPRNL Project):
• Master’s degree in relevant subject with 4 yrs. Of bachelor degree (OR)
• Candidates having Post Graduate Degree in Basic Sciences with relevant subject with 3 years Bachelor’s Degree and 2 Years Master’s Degree should have NET qualification
Relevant subjects:
•Chemistry/Organic Chemistry/Analytical Chemistry/Agricultural Chemicals/Environmental Science/Agriculture with specialization in Entomology
